Overview & Reviews
Sold from 2003-'11, the Honda Element compact crossover SUV remains one of the most distinctive and practical vehicles on the road. Happy Element owners are often city dwellers who appreciate both its small size and generous 75-cubic-foot maximum cargo capacity. Another notable element about the Element is the ability of its access-style rear doors to pivot backward a full 90 degrees, providing unimpeded access to the roomy and creatively configurable rear seats.
A used Element of any vintage is easy to recommend thanks to its functional interior, smooth four-cylinder engine and carlike handling, not to mention Honda's reputation for reliability. That said, it's worthwhile to focus your search on 2007 and newer models, as they offer a bit more power and enhanced safety features.

Love it!! - 2005 Honda Element
By MadMumbler - June 15 - 4:30 amWith a disabled child who races wheelchairs, and being service dog puppyraisers, a tough vehicle is a must, and this is easy to clean and tough to stand up to what we put it through.

In My Element - 2003 Honda Element
By In My Element - June 3 - 2:00 amSo far it has done very well in the snow. I love the interior setup. Im planing a trip in a few months and the space will be wonderful. I had a Civic Del Sol before, which I loved, but this is so much more usable. It even allows me to keep my motorcycle in the same stall with it. Its only 12 inches longer then my Del Sol. I get lots of looks and the most interesting comment is, "It looks like a Hummer." I never thought that before I bought it, but I can see some resemblance. Its so quiet compared to my Del Sol. Its a very comfortable vehicle with a great sound system too. I have found the acceleration to be just fine, even better then my Del Sol.

Lovin my Element - 2003 Honda Element
By EKing - May 29 - 10:00 amI bought my 2003 Honda Element less than 2 months ago and I am in love! I fell in love with the car once I saw it on the lot, but after I drove it I knew I had to have it. This vehicle is living up to the outstanding reputation that Honda already has. An overall wonderful vehicle. The interior is as cool or even better than the exterior. The car drives smooth, not like most SUVs. I would recommend the Element to anyone.

Love at First Sight - 2003 Honda Element
By rjnvpn - May 24 - 10:00 amI had an unexpected encounter with the Honda Element in a parking lot. It was love at first sight. Since the lease on our Honda CRV was due to expire, we decided to purchase the Honda Elemnent. I drive it exclusively, although, I was sure my husband would covet it for the sound system and a possible takeover would ensue. It gets a real "look see" by passers by..........and we owners know were "strange birds"......Otherwise, I love the Honda Element and so do my dogs.

Love my Element - 2005 Honda Element
By Janine - May 23 - 8:36 amI love my Element! Great standard sound system for a long daily commute. I had read reviews that it drove a little "trucky" but I havent found that to be the case. I love being able to remove the backseats so easily to carry suitcases or artwork. Im tall and the headroom is great and not claustrophobic like so many other vehicles.
