Overview & Reviews
Sold from 2003-'11, the Honda Element compact crossover SUV remains one of the most distinctive and practical vehicles on the road. Happy Element owners are often city dwellers who appreciate both its small size and generous 75-cubic-foot maximum cargo capacity. Another notable element about the Element is the ability of its access-style rear doors to pivot backward a full 90 degrees, providing unimpeded access to the roomy and creatively configurable rear seats.
A used Element of any vintage is easy to recommend thanks to its functional interior, smooth four-cylinder engine and carlike handling, not to mention Honda's reputation for reliability. That said, it's worthwhile to focus your search on 2007 and newer models, as they offer a bit more power and enhanced safety features.

Freedom - 2003 Honda Element
By cats4me - October 31 - 10:00 amI love this vehicle. I took it on a long trip and found that it handled well fit everything and was so easy to keep clean. The fuel economy was excellent and was not bothered by any wind noise at all.

Excellent SUV - 2005 Honda Element
By Joseph Lipnickas - October 26 - 11:16 pmA versitile SUV. The various ways the seats can be folded or removed makes this truck great. Combines a SUV with a cargo van. Waterproof interior a breeze to clean-just dont aim the hose towards the speakers. Plus Hondas reliabilty. I traded my 1991 Honda Civic with 189,000 miles in for the Element. The Civic was still running great 14 years later but my kids need something bigger.

LOVE THE ATTENTION!!! - 2004 Honda Element
By sweetsroz - October 19 - 2:00 amNow that I am in the Element, I get heads turning all of the time. Being a female, I love the attention!!! Its like a morale booster. Everyone says that it is Huge on the inside. I had been waiting for years to find that SUV that would catch my attention. I liked the Honda CRV and even the Sportage but nothing took my breath away like the Element did. When I first laid my eyes on that vehicle, I chased that man down just to see what was it. It was like love at first sight! Three weeks later I was driving in my new HONDA ELEMENT!!!

The right fit for me - 2004 Honda Element
By hondasrcute - October 14 - 10:00 amI am 32, and seriously active. This car is great for climbing, camping, mt. biking, snowboarding and my dog. The wife always wants to steel my car because its so fun to drive. I look at other people driving their hum-drum cars and feel for them. This is the car Ive been waiting for. The car that isnt a true suv (ie;poor gas mi.), and isnt a butt-ugly minivan. I can take trips to Joshua Tree and sleep in it if the mood strikes.

Love my car - 2004 Honda Element
By jewlesinaz - October 8 - 10:00 amThis is my second Element, I had a 2003 as well. The AWD seems to eat up alot more gas than the FWD. If another Element comesout in 2005, I will buy it as well.

Hondas kick ass! - 2004 Honda Element
By cherry4me - October 8 - 10:00 amThis is the second honda I have had. I had a 93 civic for 7 years, it was great. This 03 element is even better. Still small, only 11 inches longer than the civic. Great gas milage, & safer to drive now that Im not so low to the ground.

Love this car - 2003 Honda Element
By Cfabtrev - September 30 - 10:00 amIve only had this car for a wk, but I love it. It runs smoothly, its fun to drive, I like the weird look of it, and all of the space that it has. Its really easy to clean. My son loves the fact that he can put the back seat down and sleep comfortably and he loves the space and that hes higher up in the back and can see everything. I did a lot of research before getting it, and its worth every penny
