Model Overview:

Sold from 2003-'11, the Honda Element compact crossover SUV remains one of the most distinctive and practical vehicles on the road. Happy Element owners are often city dwellers who appreciate both its small size and generous 75-cubic-foot maximum cargo capacity. Another notable element about the Element is the ability of its access-style rear doors to pivot backward a full 90 degrees, providing unimpeded access to the roomy and creatively configurable rear seats.

A used Element of any vintage is easy to recommend thanks to its functional interior, smooth four-cylinder engine and carlike handling, not to mention Honda's reputation for reliability. That said, it's worthwhile to focus your search on 2007 and newer models, as they offer a bit more power and enhanced safety features.

OTHER THAN THE FRONT SEATS I REALLY LIKE THE CAR. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN. THE WINDSHIELD WASHERS NEEDED FIXED AND THE CRUISE CONTROL STUCK AND NEEDED REPLACED. GREAT CAR THOUGH.

The Honda Element is great for hauling stuff around, road trips, commuting, grocery-getting, sight-seeing, and about anything else you think of. I commute 50 miles everyday, and look forward to my commute because I love riding in my Element...

Wow!! Am I ever glad I bought this vehicle. After owning two ISUZU Troopers since 1991, it was time to look at something else. While Im too old to be in the target market group for the Element, I love the vehicle. Im a big guy and the Element has more driver room than my previous Troopers. It gets much better gas mileage too! I put a lot of miles on my vehicle commuting 70 miles round trip every day. The Element is fun to drive, easy handling and versatile. I know several people with disabilities that have purchased an Element and they think the vehicle is the best around. Plenty of room and a place for their wheelchair behind the front seat without having to fold up the back seat

We LOVE this auto! No other car had come out that we were so impressed by. From the comfort to the utility for the price. Plus, it is just plain fun to drive. We were amazed at how well built these cars are...not to mention the reliability...it is a Honda! If you are thinking about buying one, do it...you wont regret it.

This SUV is the most versatile vechicle out there. Its interior is vitually maintenance free, its exterior is so easy to clean - this SUV screams "Come on try your worst. Im one big bumper, you cant hurt me!" o) I love this thing!!!! The sound system is great without, the accessories for the interior are a good investment for convienence. This is a definite must have vehicle. This a simple vehicle to maneuver, it turns on a dime, and it is so... easy to park. Did I mention that I love this SUV!!!

I love my Element. Its unusual body style is unique and I dont see 3 on every block. The ride is smooth and it is not too noisy on the highway. I love the scratchproof fenders, the rubber floormats and the stain proof seats. The motor does not lag at all when I use the AC I also love the way the back doors open. It is so easy to load and unload with them. The CD player has a killer sound. The truck also is just the right height to enter. You dont have to have a running board to get into it.

I love this little vehicle. It does everything we were told by the dealer that it would do. It is a joy to drive. It sits higher off the ground than a sedan, so it is easy to get in and out of.

  • Big Bang For The Money - 2003 Honda Element

I bought it about 10 months ago and I put a lot of miles on it! Just as I expected! It drives smooth, very reliable, rugged, I took the two-wheel- drive off road with four passengers and no problem! Good gas mileage, easy to clean, looks good, very, comfortable. I wish that I had bought the four-wheel- drive! Highly recommend it to anyone at any age. Lots of storage space. cool stereo. Great A/C and heater!
