Overview & Reviews

- Impressively versatile interior, optional all-wheel drive, smooth four-cylinder engine, styled as if out of a Japanese animation movie.
- Only seats four, clamshell doors hinder entry/exit for rear-seat passengers.

Excellent Family Car - 2004 Honda Element
By mecasey67 - September 27 - 2:00 amWith two small kids and a dog, I needed a second car that could carry everyone if needed (and if our van was unavailable). The Element is great in this role. On weekdays it gets me to work and back, and on the weekends we can gather up our gear and the dog and go. Liquid spills and dog hair are all easily washed away. A fun car to drive. Honda build quality is evident everywhere.

Versatile, Functional, Futuristic - 2004 Honda Element
By Thundercow - September 27 - 2:00 amAwesome! My other car is a Mercedes SL500, and I find myself taking the Element more often than not. The Element is fun, well-built, and incredibly versatile. The interior is the greatest asset. It has rubberized surfaces for easy cleaning and long wear. The rear seats fold to make a bed, fold out of the way, or can be removed. This car can do snow, dirt, camping, hauling, delivery, daily driving, and it does it all well.

funky but gets the job done - 2004 Honda Element
By nikk - September 27 - 2:00 amThe Element might look alittle weird but if your looking for a reliable 4wheel drive at a decent price, and like to take long drives, this is your best best!

Nice little car! - 2004 Honda Element
By av - September 22 - 7:00 amI get between 22-25 mpg, plenty of room in back, like the ability to move seats up for more storage, especially since I traded my truck in, it works nicely on the trips to Home Depot.

Just buy one! - 2004 Honda Element
By TUAN - September 17 - 5:07 pmi have had mine for just about three years now and have used it for just about everything from camping, snowboarding, moving, and just hauling stuff. Like most folks, I wasnt a fan until I sat inside one. It really is that roomy in there. The seating configurations make it so it can handle just about anything. This car has never given me any problems and is still really fun to drive. Mine was a manual so it drove and handled even more like a car than an suv. The horsepower and torque is exellent for this size car. I still skirt the tires all the time! (this never happened with my 2000 Civic EX)

Im in my Element - 2004 Honda Element
By cmmathison - September 16 - 10:00 amThis vehicle fits my lifestyle perfectly. With kid, dog, beach, camping, it is functional, easy to keep clean and easy to get in and out of. I didnt want the typical SUV and definately didnt want a mini-van. The Element provides the function without the soccer mom look. I took it to a family reunion shortly after getting my new Element and EVERYONE wanted to get inside of it and take a look. It was a hit!

i dont know - 2004 Honda Element
By asdgha - September 16 - 10:00 amIt is good on snow days because i can take my children to school right away with no delay. It is very easy to clean on my own iside and on the outside. I like the subwoofer that is sitting inbetween the driver seat and the passanger seat. I know that it picks up good on the acceleration because i am always trying to get out ahead of other cars.It turns very sharp and is easy to get around the corners. It is fun to sit out in the car and watch the stars through the sun roof.

Boxy, unique.....and FUN! - 2004 Honda Element
By wamba - September 11 - 10:00 amNeeded a commuter type vehicle that would be fun to drive, get adequate gas mileage and that would accomodate a 66" driver (me) and a 65" teenager in the rear seat.....not many to pick from given those criteria. The Element delivers! Tons of room, fun to drive, so unusual that it is "cool", and loads of honda durability and utility. Made in the US by Americans as well. Most other small SUVs dont come close on delivering this kind of package.

By ramblerdan - September 11 - 10:00 amEspecially good for large people. Not for families with more than two kids.
