Not quite a Acura CRX - 2002 Honda Civic
By ja_wood - February 5 - 10:00 amI wanted something a bit sportier, but this car was a great compromise between styling and affordability. It gets great gas millage (EPA ratings are right on target), handles well, and has enough power to get over hills without a fuss. Dont get in an accident with this vehicle though, because although it does a good job keeping you safe, the damage to the vehicle is going to be expensive. Many of the parts cannot be easily repaired and need to be replaced (bumpers, shock absorbers, etc.)

Great Reliability, But dont expect... - 2002 Honda Civic
By BrySobe - December 1 - 10:00 amI have a 2002 Honda Civic LX coupe. Havent had a problem with it, and i refill the gas tank every 380 to 420 miles combined city and highway. Although my car is stick, it isnt a great performer. It is quiet, and has nice interior materials which is what matters most to me.

2002 Honda Civic Problems - 2002 Honda Civic
By Nathan - October 13 - 10:00 amI bought a Honda Civic in late 2002 after reading good reviews in Edmunds.com. I was totally shocked to find out only months later that the "new" car came with serious problems. 1. Unlike my Accord, the plastic in the a/c vent of the Civic "sweats" and results in the rear windshield fogging. 2. The "break shift" produces loud sounds often when one breaks. Apparently these are problems that Honda is aware of and working on. However, a consumer like myself feels shortchanged!

Mixed Feelings - 2002 Honda Civic
By deejay - July 20 - 10:00 amFaulty cab light was replaced by the dealer. Vinyl molding by the drivers side gets loose and have to be pushed in place. Defrot only with the AC on is very irritating. Sometimes fails to start for no apparent reason. Brakes jerk when applied hard. Apart from that, fun car to drive. Paid a high price. I have owned both domestic and imports, Ford to VW to Toyota. I believe this is the best.

Dealers are dealing on these. - 2002 Honda Civic
By Stoner - July 1 - 10:00 amHad mine a couple of weeks now, very nice car. Got it for 15,885, no one is buying these cars, have not seen any on the road. Very happy so far, car is a blast to drive, very fast. Love the shifter. Gas mileage in not as good as I expected, but I cant keep my foot out of it either.

2002 2dr EX manual - 2002 Honda Civic
By brend - April 11 - 10:00 amThis is my 3rd Honda civic. I keep buying them because they have great resale values and they are reliable. This 2002 model is giving me 40 mpg nearly every tank and it feels like it has more power than the 99 I traded in for it, despite identical horsepower ratings.

not that bad for a little car - 2002 Honda Civic
By CommuterMan - February 21 - 7:43 pmI prefer larger cars, but living in the city and wanting something fuel efficient led us to get this Civic. After getting rid of the stock Firestones, this car is reasonably comfortable driving around town, has enough room to drop off the kids at school, and isnt embarrassing parked next to my boss Mercedes. My gas mileage isnt as good as I expected, averaging 22 mpg, mainly because I have a short daily commute across town. However, on long drives to my in-laws, this baby get almost 40 mpg.

More fun than I thought - 2002 Honda Civic
By SanFranDan - February 19 - 10:00 amWe wanted an easy to park, easy to drive, easy to maintain, clean, efficient car. The Civic delivered with flying colors. It handles really well on curvy roads, too.
