  • My crv is cool. - 2014 Honda CR-V

If youre looking for a vehicle that has a lot of passenger and cargo space but is still fun to drive, the crv is what youre looking for. The seats are comfortable even for a short old lady. Im sitting up higher and it has a backup camera so I have a great view of everything around me. I love the fog lights...everything is visible...even dark roads at night. And it looks hot. Im proud to drive it.

I really enjoyed test driving the 2014 CR-V LX. I thought it was very roomy and comfortable. I thought it had pretty good acceleration, and was fun to drive. The storage was impressive with back seats down. The LX is well equipped, but does not have a sun roof if that is something you are looking for. The 2014 has the 5 speed auto transmission, which I liked. I also tested a 2016 with a CVT, that I also liked, but it had some hesitation when first starting out. I did not wind up buying the CR-V, I wound up with a 2015 Honda Civic. The main reason I went for the Civic was because I wanted a stick shift car and found a certified beauty. But I would not hesitate to recommend the CR-V, it is a really nice vehicle, and can be bought as a Certified Honda car for a warranty and more confidence in what you are buying. I did not get to try it in snow, but I imagine the All Wheel Drive version which I drove would be great in the snow, especially with snow tires mounted.

  • Extremely logical, comfortable family car. - 2014 Honda CR-V

We have had our CR-V for over two years now , and I thought some of the ratings here were a bit unfair. This car is, and will be reliable for a long time, has excellent control, handling and visibility, and holds its own among similar crossovers or small SUVs. It took me awhile to warm up to the little car, but my wife loved it from day one. We were having a child, and planning on another. Our two dogs and kids all fit just fine, with to spare. The only cons I can think of are the interior seems a bit dated for the higher end model we chose, and the mileage could be a bit better for the size of the engine. Honda could also offer a more affordable extended warranty. It runs great, is quiet and handles well over the passes in winter. We hope to keep it for a very long time.

This car excellerates great. I love the button on the gear shift that you use instead of pushing the gas petal when passing. The car is very comfortable on long trips. Easy in and out for seniors. Great gas mileage. Car doesnt wear you out on long trips.

Needs a little more leg room, arm rest on passenger side, better horn and better acceleration.

this vehicle is the noisiest vehicle I have ever ridden in, I suppose it is road noise, but then it shutters frequently at25-30 mph so perhaps transmission issues also. dealer could careless, says nothing is wrong. this is my wifes car I cannot stand to ride in it thinking about how much it costs and how totally unpleasant the ride is. You cannot even hear the radio on the highway. Avoid this vehicle. My Camry is so much more pleasant.

  • New at owning a SUV - 2014 Honda CR-V

Downsizing from a full size 4 door sedan to a SUV was a decision not taken lightly. However, sitting up higher has its advantages. Now maybe I will not be looking at just the door or fender of those that like to pull all the way forward in the left lane at stop signals and block your view to the left of oncoming traffic. they have a clear view, but do not need it to turn left like you do when you are in the left lane and want to turn left. So far I am very satisfied with he purchase. However, the drivers seat could be more comfortable for big people on long rides. Also regarding dealers, this was a certified used vehicle, but the battery failed within 36 hours of delivery. The dealer replaced the battery, but condition should have been noted during inspection.
