  • Great car, great value - 2014 Honda CR-V

I read all of the 2013 reviews before purchasing my 2014. I decided to go with the EX-L without navigation. I couldnt imagine going without a passenger seat arm rest. The dealer got me a CR-V without navigation (since those reviews are terrible) and without the entertainment system, which I dont need. It looks good, runs well, has sufficient pickup even in ECO mode. One reviewer complained about the headrest--but on the EX-L the seat is infinitely adjustable so thats easily corrected. The sound system works sufficiently well for me. Headlights seem to light just fine, but I drive only in well lit suburban areas. Controls are easy to see and operate.

  • Great Car... but - 2014 Honda CR-V

Our 2014 CRV is a very nice, reliable and economical car. We have had a number of Hondas and find them to be a good value. The CRV has excellent seat comfort and seating position, great visibility, good ride and handles well ... as long as you dont drive aggressively. The sills are low - a good thing for over 60s getting in and out. It has a real key - not a fob and starter button, a good thing. We just did a 1400 mile trip and got great highway mileage (33+). As with all Hondas, there are minor annoyances that mar an otherwise great car. We considered similar Toyota, Mazda and Subaru models and liked the CRV best overall. There are issues (see below), but all cars have issues.

I leased my vehicle on October 11, 2013. My vehicle has almost 2000 miles. I have been leasing Honda vehicles for over 10 years and this is my first SUV. The ride is smooth and the road noise is low. When you need that extra pick up when entering a highway it responds well. The fabric seats are comfortable and my family say the back seats are comfortable too. The interior menu display screen is small. The trunk space is good. Overall I am very happy with my Honda CR-V.

I am elderly. I have had many, many cars. This is my first Honda, and I have to say, I am thrilled with this vehicle. Zero problems, so far, great gas mileage, more performance than I expected from this little 2.4.

I’ve had my new 14CR-V for a couple of weeks now and put just over a thousand miles on it, a mix of in city and highway. Driving a Camry Hybrid for more than 7 years, I loved the gas mileage, but there was a lack of cargo space in the small truck. So rather than get a somewhat more spacious sedan I thought I’d try out an economical SUV with tons more cargo space for my stuff, and trips to the beach, while not sacrificing people space when my family comes visiting. Cargo space is abundant in this airy, fun to drive car. Its easy to fold the 40/60 rear seats down with a simple pull of a lever. Mileage range is 22 to 34.8, avg 28.7 MPG. This is an all round great Compact Useful Vehicle!

  • Extremely pleased with everything after 9 months search and comparison, RAV4, Mazda CX5 & CRV - 2014 Honda CR-V

56 year old grandparents and mostly just the 2 of us and then our 2yr old grandson. I was looking for the best mpg med-small SUV with the most room, safety, quiet, and dependability. I was real close to getting the Mazda but I kept reading reviews of interior noise and back seat discomfort and I read too many complaints on the RAV4. I am more than pleased with the 2014 CRV. Comfort front and rear, good interior noise control & room, great ride, features, great gas mileage. In the first 1500 miles, the worst was(real) 24mpg with mostly town miles & best (real)33mpg highway with AC and packed full. I have no complaints! A feature that I did not know it had was the ability to downshift into 3rd.

  • Honda SRV after a Cadillac SRX - 2014 Honda CR-V
    By -

I owned a 05 Cadillac SRX for a few years, and repair and dependability cost demanded trade in. I brought a Honda SRX-L and it has been a great car. I have not had one issue with the car so far. The dealership was wonderful and appears to be helpful. Oil changes, paint protection, warranty suppose. I will keep you posted on this car as the years go on.

  • Great value, solid - 2014 Honda CR-V

This car is reliable and although it doesnt have much pickup it handles well and is an enjoyable ride. Wish the gas mileage was a little better and some of the interior materials were upgraded, but would definitely buy again for the price and the overall value.
