  • Something to think about - 2006 Honda CR-V

I purchase one of the only two white CRVs with manual drive. I wished I had went ahead and purchased the automatic, but my husband was worried about power going up the Grapevine and Tehacapi Mountains that surround us. The gear shift needs to be raised about 3" taller and there are no arm rests for the driver or passenger front seats. The clutch is very smooth and effortless, and does give the vehicle the ability to drop to a lower gear and pass without effort. The ride is wonderful and what we wanted for all the traveling we plan to do, and the AWD allows us to not worry about what time of the year or where we are going.

  • Great little vehicle - 2006 Honda CR-V

Ive owned my CR-V for less than a month & only have about 800 miles on it, but early returns are very positive! It is flexible, agile, roomy, and fun to drive. Ive been getting gas mileage right at the EPA estimated 22 city & looking forward to a road trip next month. I evaluated a couple of dozen vehicles and drove 10 or 12 before finally settling on the CR-V. It is a compromise vehicle...not as fast, roomy, powerful, flexible, sexy, economical, etc., etc., etc., as some, but IMHO offers the best possible combination of features.

  • For the Family - 2006 Honda CR-V

Having a new baby I was looking for something safe, and bigger than a car. After making my comparisons it came down to the RAV4 and CRV, leaning towards the RAV4 I went to test drive the CRV. I could not belive how well it handled, its get up and go and it didnt feel like I was driving a tank. Overall after driving it for a couple of weeks now I couldnt be happier with any other vehicle.

  • I love my Honda! - 2006 Honda CR-V

Just sold my 95 Accord and needed a new vehicle. Of course it had to be a Honda. Saw the CRV SE and it was love at first sight. Had features I always wanted, safety, good looks and fun to drive. My first moonroof ever and I use it every day. Almost as peppy as the Accord V6 was, and that surprised me since I shy away from 4 bangers. Good gas mileage for around town, especially with the high price of gas. Very happy with the CRV SE.

  • With a CR-V, forget about the Rav4! - 2006 Honda CR-V

I test drove the Toyota Rav4, Hyundai Tuscon, Saturn Vue, Mitsu Outlander. The CR-V beat them hands down in every way. I should know, I buy new cars every 3-4 years. ROCK SOLID HONDA build. I used to have a DODGE Durango, now I wish I had gotten this years ago. Dont bother looking elsewhere, just get this!

Ive had my 2006 CR-V for about a month, and I love it! It has the benefits of an SUV, such as sitting up high, but is still compact and easy to maneuver and drive. It handles well and looks great.

I bought CRV about 1month ago. Actually, I already had a Honda Accord But I need more bigger than accord..so I was comparing with another car for exam,escape(FORD),RAV4(TOYOTA).etc.. I think CRV is more valuable. So I just bought it.The CRV engine is same thing that is Accord engine. Anyway The CRV seem to be need mo powerful but It is enough. Its so nice car for me^^

i love my cute Honda CR-V. It handles like a dream. Has incredibly smooth transmission. Acceleration is commendable for such a small engine. It gives exactly what it claims: 21mpg city driving; about 28 for highway. The available cargo room is amazing. The CR- V is stylish, but it has a lot of competition from the copycats.

  • 5800 Miles and its totaled - 2006 Honda CR-V

I walked away from a crash were a young kid hit me from behind on the passenger side when he was doing around 70 MPH. Side curtain airbags deployed and the driver seat actually broke due to the force of the impact. But I opened the door and walked away with a sore neck and back. The insurance company totaled the CRV. I am going to go buy a new one as soon as I can. Thanks Honda for such a safe vehicle.
