  • My CRV - 2006 Honda CR-V

Bought it new as I wanted a fuel efficient small SUV and I believe Honda makes the best. Believe or not I actually used the hidden picnic table for some work I had to do on a leaf blower. It is extremely quick off the line, handles ok, but will get new sticky wider tires to help that. The sunroof rocks, the cd changer is great, and sound is fine but not as good as the Element. 21-22 mpg in town. On a trip, 26-28.

  • Great little SUV - 2006 Honda CR-V

Overall, I love this SUV. I was worried going from a V6 to a 4 cylinder, but Im actually surprised at the pick-up this car has. The AWD has been a huge help in the snow and dirt even though it isnt a true 4x4. It is comfortable and has plenty of space and I like the interior layout. I have had a problem with the glove box not completely closing and was told by honda that it is a frequent problem and that they just replace it. It also makes a clanking sound when you first start to drive, but I was told by Honda that it was the rear ABS activating. It worried me at first, but I guess its ok.

  • All But The Mileage - 2006 Honda CR-V
    By -

I have owned four Hondas, all have been great reliable cars. In this new addition, the gas mileage is a crime. There should be a law to prevent misrepresenting gas mileage this much. This 4 cyl CRV is getting about the same mileage my 4X4 Toyota Tundra Pickup go when it was new. 17 MPG driving the same roads.

  • 2006 Best Choice - 2006 Honda CR-V
    By -

Decided on the 2006 due to the 2007s lack of a manual trans. The CR-V has done everything Ive asked of it. Trips to the hardware store, plowing through snow storms, hauling people and gear with ease, its just about the perfect vehicle. Fuel economy hovers in the upper 20s in the summer, low 20s in the winter. Recommend the CR-V to anyone who asks.

  • Our First Honda-A wise choice! - 2006 Honda CR-V
    By -

This is our first Honda CR-V. We decided on the SE model because of all the options it offered. In general I like the vehicle but I do have some problems with the interior. It has ample power, gets good highway gas mileage, and is very comfortable on long trips. Everything is close to the driver and the steering wheel controls are intelligently placed, although the cruise control on/off switch could have been placed in a better spot. We were able to store tons of luggage for the annual Christmas Trip from Evansville IN to San Antonio Tx. We are very pleased with our investment.

  • 2006 HONDA CRV - 2006 Honda CR-V

The 2006 is everything I thought it would be and more. Looked at all in its class and no other compares. Got the 5spd manual to get the extra horses from the engine and Im glad I did. Ride, handling and acceleration are very good. Recommend this vehicle to anyone! Like it better than the 2007.

  • I look at it in every window I drive by - 2006 Honda CR-V
    By -

I had a 2003 Pilot and enjoy the CRV much more. I feel sporty yet safe with the Realtime AWD. Its white with the window & moonroof visors. I dont have anything bad to say about the vehicle, I love it. Drove it from WV to Mt. Rushmore, SD in July, it was comfortable, dependable, the epitome of sweet.

  • North Country - 2006 Honda CR-V

I have now owned this car for one full year and used it thru 2 Canadian winters as well as one vacation trip thru the Rocky Mountains. Love this car. Great for snow and ice conditions, and most importantly its gets WARM quickly in the winter (Im talking -30 here). This is my first Japanese car and Im very impressed with the quality.

  • Its simply beauty - 2006 Honda CR-V
    By -

It is a suv so compare it with suv lines. I cant even take my eyes off my beautiful white shinning baby. I got compliments from people all the time. I know it is a eye-catcher and drive like a champ. The steering wheel operates like a car. I cant say enough good things about it. After all, it is a car, and you have to feel the passion and pride to own one.

  • Excellence - 06 Honda CRV - 2006 Honda CR-V

The 2006 Honda CRV is a responsive, fun car to drive. Honda reliability was a deciding factor for purchase. Our intention is to drive this car for the next 150,000 miles as we have our other Honda.
