New interior with driver airbag debuts. New dashboard features modular design with controls that are much easier to read and use. New four-door model is added midyear, nicely sized between Jimmy and Suburban. New model is offered only in SLE or SLT trim with a 5.7-liter V8 and an automatic transmission in either 2WD or 4WD. Brake/transmission shift interlock is added to automatic transmission. New console on models with bucket seats features pivoting writing surface, along with rear cupholders and storage drawer.

Intake Manifold Gasket - 1995 GMC Yukon
By really_big_j - September 4 - 3:16 pmI bought my truck because it had a completely new engine due to an intake manifold gasket failure. To my chagrin, Ive replaced that same suspect gasket 3 more times. Its a design flaw, which GM is happy to exploit.

Good truck - 1995 GMC Yukon
By brockketcher - January 1 - 2:00 amI bought my yukon with 50,000 miles. It has a diesel engine. I now have 150,000 + miles, with exception of about $3000 in up keep (seals, idler arms, etc...) I have not had many problems.
