Taurus is back. - 2011 Ford Taurus
By vietvet68 - January 25 - 6:59 pmMy new Taurus is far superior to my 2000 Taurus. That car was fine at the time but the new Taurus has more power and comfort. And its easy to change the oil filter. I change my own oil because I use synthetic and I need to cut the cost. I also only use pure gasoline which contains no ethynol. I expect to get 300,000 miles out of this one.

Best car we have ever owned - 2011 Ford Taurus
By Dick - December 5 - 2:00 amWe had spent considerable time and effort in shopping for a new car. The primary contenders were Buick, Avalon, VW, Lexus, and of course Ford Taurus. We included the Lexus only because of the features, but felt that it was over priced. The Taurus won hands down. It is a dream to drive, looks great, and has all of the features we would like and more.

Love This Car - 2011 Ford Taurus
By Jack - December 3 - 2:00 amOwned this car for 3 months now and have to say I love it. It is a lot of fun to drive. Bought it with the moon roof and 301A package. Gas mileage is very good, stiffer ride than I am used too but Im getting used to it. Sound system is very good although Microsoft could improve Sync. I have no problem with the head rests or rear window vision. Shift paddles are useless to me. Received a lot of compliments from other people.

2011 Ford Taurus Limited AWD - 2011 Ford Taurus
By shakes67 - November 12 - 2:00 amI just purchased the 11 Taurus Lim Awd with the 303a package, munti contour seating, ad.cruise control, and navigation. The interior is quiet and ride is smooth. The 3.5 l has plenty of power for everyday use but if your looking for the extra thrill and extra insurance cost go with the SHO.

Great Features - 2011 Ford Taurus
By Dennis - October 14 - 2:00 amI purchased my 2011 Taurus Limited FWD last weekend, and had a 600 mile trip to Michigan. I was truly impressed with the adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance equipment, which worked very well. The BLIS system was also well received and needed due to sight limitations. The navigation and Sync were also a pleasure to use. Many premium cars dont offer the same technology for $20K more, so you get great value for the price. Fit and finish is very good, an improvement from a previous 2002 Ford vehicle. Interior and exterior styling are both attractive. Standard engine performance is acceptable with better handling than my previous car, an Avalon. Its worth a look.

Nice ride - 2011 Ford Taurus
By johnson - October 11 - 2:00 amI consider myself a true car guy. And all I can say is wow. This car was put together with a driver in mind, the interior is awesome and driving this car is no different. Handling is great and stock power puts you easy into the 100 plus. Trunk space is the best I have seen. As a nascar fan, this looks like the real deal sitting in the garage. For a full size sedan, you forget how much you have under you with the power ratio. Cannot keep my hands from turning up the stereo. In my 40s and feel like I am in my 20s again.

This aint your old mans Ford! - 2011 Ford Taurus
By FlyByNite - September 30 - 2:00 amI did it! Traded my Porsche Cayenne for a Ford! With all of the upgrades plus the improved construction, it was a no brainer. My fully loaded limited was less than half the cost of the Porsche. No more $140 oil changes, no more $1300 major service costs. Smooth driving, excellent over railroad tracks. SYNC has more features than onstar at no cost. I am not a uaw fan but, Ford didnt take the bailout & yet they produced a vehicle to rival the euros & Asians. And . They unloaded Jaguar.

A Very Nice Ride - 2011 Ford Taurus
By tmjc1 - September 6 - 7:21 amOverall, I am extremely satisfied with my 2011 Taurus Limited. Noise and ride are the best Ive experienced and its almost a pleasure to drive to work now! Air conditioned seats are definitely a plus (as I found out during a recent heat wave here). Great transmission, shifts when it should and so smoothly, too. Only negative I noticed was a very slight misalignment of the drivers door, vertically.

2011 Taurus Limited AWD - 2011 Ford Taurus
By William - August 27 - 6:53 pmExcellent vehicle with great handling and ride - both have exceeded my expectations. Test drove a lot of other cars, including LaCrosse, and found the Taurus was a better car overall. So far Im very pleased with this purchase.

Look at the rest but buy the best - 2011 Ford Taurus
By Impressed - August 27 - 2:36 amThis car has the best nav/media system out of any of the others we drove it requires a monthly fee for the extras from Sirius but its worth it IMO it makes the car feel even more special when your driving. Its a sexy car the seats are comfy the cooled seats are amazing lots of room in the back a hair slower than others in the quarter but drive it youll really never notice plus torque band is flat so shifts are extremely smooth. But as a family sedan its good looking smooth ride and roomy and lots of gadgets to make the car special no matter the trim level.
