This Year's Model Updates:
The 2007 Ford Taurus has been withdrawn for purchase by the general consumer and is now available for fleet sales only. Within a year or two, some of these '07 models will turn up on used car lots, most of them ex-rental cars.
Pros:
- Roomy cabin that can seat six, low prices on the used market.
Cons:
- Low-grade interior trim
- Performance, ride and handling lag behind class leaders
- Unrefined drivetrain
- Historically poor resale value.

2007 Ford Taurus SEL, Built Cheap - 2007 Ford Taurus
By John - April 27 - 2:25 pmI purchased a 2007 Taurus SEL premium, and Ive had it for a month, and out of that month its been at Ford for 2 weeks of that month. I owned a 2002 Taurus and the quality of the 2007 feels cheaper compared to the last one. I think they werent focused on quality control when they were selling these as fleet cars. I am very disappointed in this car, and I have it for sale now, and I am going back to a Chevrolet.
