Average For a Truck - 1994 Ford Ranger
By concernedbuyer - July 9 - 2:00 amI loved my truck being a woman and seated higher up from other cars. It was comfortable for my bad back and held up well. I started having major problems at 116,000. It was a 5 speed manual and one day the stick decided not to work when shifting. I maintained it very well always did the reccommended maintenance on it. I must say the best thing about this truck was the original tires lasted me almost 5 1/2 years before I had to replace all four. My husbands car is a 91 Toyota Tercel and he only had to do oil changes on it, compared to my truck. I think we will stick to Toyotas.

A Fun Little Truck. - 1994 Ford Ranger
By el4n6dir - July 6 - 2:00 amThis truck has been my everyday truck for 8 years. I have had no major mechanical problems over those eight years. The interior of the truck has hardly aged at all. The engine and transmission have needed no work. All of the repairs that have been made have been the result of regular wear and tear.

Great vehicle - 1994 Ford Ranger
By DSNIDER - June 6 - 2:00 amIve got to say that i have been very impressed in this vehicle. Ive never been big on fords but i will say that i wouldnt mind buying another one of their products. The only complaints ive had about the truck was when the transmission(5 speed) went out around 127,000 miles. I had it replaced for under $1000. Overall it gets good gas milage for a truck, its comfortable for what its made for, and it never left me stranded. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Great and Reliable Truck - 1994 Ford Ranger
By XTruckChick - May 22 - 2:00 amBought this truck to help with my frequent moves. I bought it in 96 with 56K on it and sold it in 2001 with 135K. Drove it from WI to CA about 3 times, it made it through LA traffic just fine. Only problems I had were normal maintenance, breaks, drive belt, one O2 sensor, etc. (Only qwirk was the A/C clutch froze up (which is included in the path of the drive belt) causing the belt to snap the fan blade and wreck the alternator). But a quick $150 repair and I was back in business! Great truck. Sold it to a friend who is still driving it! I miss it frequently! By far my most favorite vehicle.

This truck just will not stop! - 1994 Ford Ranger
By Fscott - May 21 - 2:00 amI bought my Ford Ranger XLT Extended brand new off the lot. It has a v6 4.0 liter with auto transmission and let me tell you, this thing will not stop. I mean, I have had almost no trouble out of it. Currently it has 161,000 miles on it and idles and runs like it did 100,000 miles ago. My dad bought a Chev S10 2 weeks after I bought the Ranger, and his truck is about to fall apart! I would buy this truck again any day. When Ford states that that they are built Ford tough....beleive it. This thing has been trough it all, and never fails me.

I cant kill this truck - 1994 Ford Ranger
By cheech - May 21 - 2:00 am223000 miles and still runs like a watch. For the past year Ive been neglecting it, hoping that Ill be able to replace her. I bored after 200K plus and want a new toy, I just cant justify spending the $$ when my old one still works well.

94 Ranger 4x4 - 1994 Ford Ranger
By rbellew - April 24 - 2:00 amThis has been the best all around vehicle I have ever owned. It had 68K on the odometer when I bought it, and didnt look really well maintained. It now has 192K and has been nearly flawless. It has the 4.0 V6, 327 gears, and 5-speed tranny its good for 18 mpg around town and up to 25 mpg on the highway. Runs strong at 75+ on the interstate. I highly recommend it to anyone.
