Overview & Reviews
The flareside pickup bed option is no longer available. Package updates and revised wheel and tire options round out the changes to the 2005 Ford Ranger.
- Multiple trim levels and options, functional interior, cheap price.
- Dated platform, weak engines, choppy ride, lack of modern features and amenities, no crew cab body style.

ranger danger(for competition, that is!) - 2005 Ford Ranger
By zitro - November 9 - 5:59 pmi previously owned a chevrolet S-10. i couldnt be more dissapointed. it had to be the worst vehicle i ever owned. i went to ford and bought a ranger. i couldnt beleive the difference. everything about this car is great and much better than the S-10. engine refinement, power, handling, ride, and the overall vehicle beats chevy in every way. i would list it all, but its too much. its just that good.

Fun to drive - 2005 Ford Ranger
By greenbay - September 13 - 2:00 amThis truck is fun to drive. This is a compact truck with a full size feel. The 4.0L V-6 engine has plenty power. I have no power loss when pulling a 17 foot Searay. I love my truck. The dealer was easy to deal with and with the rebates that was offered I feel this is the best bargain out there.
