  • 193,500 miles running perfect - 1993 Ford Ranger

I had my ranger for six years and it was recently totaled. Up to this point it was running great. I bought it at 104,000 miles and it would still be on the rode with 193,500 miles if it werent for that 93 year old lady that hit me. The 90,000 miles I owned it I replaced the water pump, starter, timing belt and the fan belt. This was a very reliable truck. This was the 2.3L four cylinder!

  • On its last legs? - 1993 Ford Ranger

My ranger had 55,000 miles when I bought it in 1997, today it has 183,000. Other than the usual maintanance of brakes, tires, etc, havent had many problems, except one. At 100,000 miles I replaced the leaky slave cylinder and put in a new clutch. At 150,000 the slave started leaking again, but this time I had the dealership fix it, which set me back about $700. Now, with 183,000, I will be letting her go soon. I have the 4.0 V6 with the 5-speed. This truck still has tons of snap, doesnt leak a drop of any fluid and ranges from 20 to 22mpg.

Wow, 171,000 miles and this little is still running. Shes part of the family. I thought about selling her, but why...I love this ford truck...as reliable as my german shepherd Shadow.

  • Ten years old and still going strong - 1993 Ford Ranger

Ive owned this truck for ten years and have never had a major problem other than the usual upkeep items such as breaks, tires, belts, etc. I use the vehicle on a daily basis and it is still very reliable.

I got my ranger a little while ago, and let me tell you, its the best purchase that Ive ever made. Mileage could be a bit better, but hey, I didnt get it for economy. When offroading its second to none, my friend has a Ford F-150, and i repeatedly have had to help him out of mud that my Ranger took with ease.

Had it ten years and never had a problem. Good power. With ABS rear brakes stops on a dime, saved me from having an accident when big rig suddenly pulled out in front of me on freeway.

  • Proven Built Ford Tough - 1993 Ford Ranger

My Ford Ranger only had 63,000 miles on it when I had it. It is a manual 5 Speed 4x4 STX. This Ranger has to be the toughest V6 ever on the road. I work on a farm and it easily towed a 30 ft bean header which it was not meant to pull by any means and the tranny and engine is still stout as can be and I just had the clutch replace last month. The paint and interior also looks like new. I believe it was Built Ford Tough.

  • Great Truck - 1993 Ford Ranger

I bought this truck with 76,000 miles know it has 84,321 miles. It is a great truck the only problems I have had is the Master and Slave fails but owell I is great off-road even you know it has 4 cylinder. It is still is a powerful engine.

  • THE truck - 1993 Ford Ranger

My Ranger is extremely reliable. Im not a college student and I learned how to drive a standard on this truck, and it STILL works great - 90,000+ miles.
