Awesome car - 1995 Ford Probe
By shoe - September 24 - 2:00 amThis is a great car. Great looking and fun to drive. I wish they hadnt stop making it. The interior could be more durable and it is expensive to fix.

inexpensive? i think not - 1994 Ford Probe
By Lysabet - September 23 - 2:00 amthe transmission in my 94 probe se failed at 80k, and cost 3k to fix it, which is more than the value of the car. other than normal maintanence ive replaced the O2 sensors twice, the entire exhaust system, and too many engine parts to write the air conditioning is the only thing in my car that has been reliable. plus, i have a clean driving record and the insurance is expensive. its an inexpensive "sports car", however the repairs and parts are super expensive. unless you can do the work yourself, or have an awesome mechanic, youll be spending lots of cash to keep the car on the road.

Outstanding vehicle!!! - 1996 Ford Probe
By husband - September 21 - 2:00 amI purchased this puppy brand spanking new, and I have loved every day with it. Good acceleration smooth looks (for its time) and very comfortable interior. Rusty sunroof and crappy service from Ford (for standard maintenance) are the only detractions. I wish Ford had continued this model.

Great if you have $$$ - 1995 Ford Probe
By probegirl - September 19 - 2:00 amSharp looking car but too expensive for basic repairs. Driver seat is extremely comfy but passenger seat is not. Not a good family car. My 95 is still peppy. Just sunk over 1.5K into brakes and exhaust. Key entries had to all be replaced??? Weird things go on this car and they are outrageously expensive. Other than that - GREAT CAR! DEPENDABLE and good on gas.

Probe LX - 1991 Ford Probe
By Sant - September 16 - 2:00 amThe V6 LX 1991 was a good find. The depreciation of the value made it more worthwhile to look at. I dont think you can get a car at this price and the kind of performance it still offers. 18/20 MPG in city driving is quite economical. I had only some heating problem due to some radiator damage. Cant blame Ford for anything. Keep in mind though, the Automatic might not last beyond 130K. Factor in that cost and you are set for a 200 K V6 car that still looks great.

Relentlessly Reliable - 1990 Ford Probe
By gch - September 15 - 2:00 am225,000 and still going. One owner. Has its wear and tear, but the Mazda made engine is relentlessly rugged. The Ford body and interior and electrical had some issues. But this car has gone far beyond the call of duty. I may be donating it within a week or two....looking at the used mid to upper end market now....maybe something with a Mazda engine.

Best Car Ive Ever Owned! - 1997 Ford Probe
By WXYZ - August 23 - 2:00 amSeriously. This is the best car Ive owned out of the 8 I have. I bought it new and Ive yet to have a mechanical problem with it!!!! I take very good care of it and it takes care of me. The styling is great. The car handles like no other and the Manual Transaxle shifts like a dream! I would highly recommend one if you can find one that wasnt abused!
