Probe running strong - 1994 Ford Probe
By Lanae - May 5 - 2:00 amI have owned my base probe since 6/29/99 (maroon w/black interior)and purchased it with a 3,000 mile warranty. I have done regular maintence to it and the 2 cv boots that needed replaced were covered by the warranty i bought. It has had some idling problems although, at the moment it vibrates so much that i have to put it in neutral at the stop light because it needs motor mounts. I am shocked that a domestic car could make it this far. I am thinking about getting another probe 95-97 but, i have heard that the GT parts are expensive so a SE will suit me just fine.

Go Probe Go! now, thats a good car! - 1991 Ford Probe
By robiross - April 29 - 2:00 amIve had this car for almost 2 years now. A friend of mine owned it since new and thats a car you can count on. I just cant believe how devaluated it is. Too bad they dont make them anymore, cause Id probably buy another (newer, of course)

My 2nd Probe! - 1997 Ford Probe
By Keek - April 11 - 2:00 amIm on my second Probe, and both have been relatively good to me. Maybe not an A+, but definately an A. (1990 Probe, 1997 Probe, both standard transmission) I have really enjoyed driving both of these cars. I was in a nasty accident earlier this week (hit by a BIG Jeep Cherokee) and I am amazed at how well my Probe held up! I was hit on the drivers side, and in a lesser car I am quite sure my legs would have been broken at the very least. Unfortunately, my Probe has too much damage not to be totalled, (Sob!) but I can honestly say that I would get another Probe. (Isnt three the magic number?)

Love the Probe - 1996 Ford Probe
By Chemboy - April 1 - 2:00 amI bought my 96 GT Probe new and have loved most everything. I whine constantly about no lights in the glove box and trunk (and on the GT model--come on Ford!) My only problem has been leaky oil gaskets found when replacing the timing belt and a tune- up at 80,0000 miles...and there was the problem with the power window fixed under warranty. Other than that, it has driven like a dream and looks very sleek especially with the rear spoiler.

Good Car, Bad Trans...... - 1996 Ford Probe
By Boxster265 - March 30 - 2:00 amI have owned a 96 GT since 1999. I have throughly enjoyed this car until today, when the transmission went submission at 72,000 miles. The car has given me no problems beyond the very bad interior rattles. I have always like Ford products, but now I dont know. A friend recommended selling it at 75,000, I almost made it. Liked the car, but didnt like the bad trans that had been flushed 15,000 miles ago. On to something foreign now!!!!

I love my PGT - 1994 Ford Probe
By easye_24 - March 25 - 2:00 amMy 94 PGT has over 155,000 miles on it and still runs great. The engine has a lot of wear and tear on it with all those miles like oil burning, but it starts everytime i want it to, the tires spin when want them to, and she is quick and fast. I love to driving ever since I purchased my probe because it is the funnest car i have ever driven.

Still a blast to drive! - 1995 Ford Probe
By Jersey John - March 21 - 2:00 amI have now cranked out 107,000 miles on this car and I still love the way it handles. I look for winding roads just to enjoy the way it hugs the road. I finally replaced the brake pads after 85K miles and Im still on the original clutch and exhaust system. The car has been as reliable as any car Ive ever owned - and Im 54 years old.

A 90 Ford Probe was my first car....... - 1990 Ford Probe
By veronika - March 21 - 2:00 amI bought a 1990 Ford Probe from a family member, but they failed to tell me the car had a few glitches...so as time went on, I had to put in a brand new radiator, I fixed the A/C so now it is working and gives cold air, and heat. I tinted the windows-which gave it a nice look. New tires were also added. And a few other things. But once I had fixed most of the major problems, it was smooth running from then on. Right now I am in the process of selling my Probe. The car has been reliable, I can say it has never left me anywhere, but a car like that needs to be well taken care of.

my review - 1996 Ford Probe
By Mikenetize - March 20 - 2:00 amThis car is the best thing I have ever driven. its fun, easy to work on and I havent had any problems with it. My only problem is that I wish they had put a 6-speed in it.
