For a sports car it is descent in snow. The engine is very reliable and fuel efficient for a V6.A decent sports car that still holds its own no problem.Passes cars at highways speeds effortlessly,haha...

This car has been nothing but reliable. Very well running and great to drive. My car has 115,000 miles on it and runs like its brand new. I couldnt be happier with this purchase.

  • THESE CARS ARE GETTING OLDER. - 1993 Ford Probe

Ive had my PGT for about 2 yrs now, I havent had any major repairs, just tires and a water pump, $63.00 for the pump at NAPA, and about four million dollars worth of labor (reduced to zero by doing it myself) The Probe GT could be considered a sports car, yeah they can be a pain sometimes, but they are getting older now, I expect to make repairs on a car with over 100K on them.

  • Good looking car with problems - 1993 Ford Probe

This car is really, really nice. The interior design looks 5-6 years younger than what it actually is. Ive always been happy driving the car because it looks like new. However, my Probe has had many problems: intake gasket, clutch, driving axle, bushings and schock absorbers, water pump. Thats in just 14 months. $$$.

awesome car, awesome handling, few repairs, and very fun to drive

  • Better than youd expect - 1996 Ford Probe
    By -

I have driven the life out of my car (10500/6 years), and it has been fairly good to me. It looks faster than it is, but it will give you its best, however loudly. Is extremely fun to drive is best with a manual transmission, however. Looks great, especially with tinted windows. Mix of Mazda/Ford parts is a pain modifications also difficult due to cramped engine space. Yet has great fuel efficiency (in non-extreme conditions).

  • Fun car to drive - 1993 Ford Probe

I am the original owner of this vehicle. I have had it for 9 years. The car has been fun to drive. It hugs corners well. The car got me a lot of attention when there werent too many of them around so you know it has style. The majority of the repairs came within the warranty period: the first to go was the head gaskets. Then the transmission. After the warranty: it was the radiator. Then the liftback hydraulics. The most recent has been the brake master cylinder. I have chosen to not fix this and now the car is for sale. The tires are not cheap but with some shopping around, you can get each tire for about $110.

Overall a ok value, insuffient room under the hood, recurring electrical problems (pop up headlight problems, needs to much current to start).

  • good car - 1995 Ford Probe

  • Nice Looking Car- But Piece Of Crap - 1992 Ford Probe

Well, I got my car in good condition, transmission died 5 months later. Parts for these cars are MIA- you cant find them anywhere but junkyards pretty much, so it took 3 months to be fixed. Constant problems.
