  just plain love this auto! neatest car i`ve ever had! (have owned quite a few) not really slow, not really fast, either.sorta half-fast,i suppose! (couldn`t resist)

  A fun car to drive - 1993 Ford Probe

  I bought my 93 Probe new, and after 145,000 miles, Im still enjoying it. The 5 speed still has the original clutch and Im still getting 30 mpg! I added 4 Pirellis several years ago, since the car had no traction when accelerating in wet weather. What a difference. Also added an Alpine CD player and upgraded all 4 speakers - sounds fantastic. You will not find more bang for the buck. Just forget about using the back seat for anything except small packages.

  great car - 1997 Ford Probe

  This was my first car, i got it with 40k, and now have almost 90,000 on it. Never had a major problem, only minor ones that i fixed myself. I get 25 mpg city/30mpg highway. Performance is good,and the car looks awesome with the chrome wheels. For an 11 year old design, this car is still holding its own against new cars. awesome handling. Would recommend this car to anyone!

  Great balance of size, function and fun! - 1994 Ford Probe

  Put nearly 100,000 miles on my Probe and am having a TOUGH time finding a replacement that offers as good a combination of fun driving, great styling and the ability to haul a LOT of stuff. (People comment that they cant BELIEVE how much I pull out of its trunk.) It HAS been problematic and expensive at times, and Probe parts can be expensive. Put about $1100 into it last year, a new clutch, some sort of sensor costing hundreds of bucks (they all do), and some issue with the starter. Still runs fine, is still fun, could use a little tuning perhaps and...my seats are starting to rot, Ive GOT to get another car! But WHAT KIND????

  Best Ford Small Passenger Ever Built - 1990 Ford Probe

  242,000 mi. and this 3.0L 6 cyl. engine still has some punch left. I just bought a used 97 Probe GTS to replace my 90 because this truely is the best car Ford ever built. Why would any car company discontiue such a gem? I guess people would rather pay more money for Hondas or Toyotas (4 cyl... Puhlease!) that dont even come close to the speed or handling of the 2nd gen Probe V6.

  Great used car - 1990 Ford Probe

  After reading others experiences I went ahead and bought my 90 with 147K on it, and have added another 9K. Replaced plugs, wires, dist cap/rotor, front brakes (cheap!). Timing belt blew, but I should have changed it no valve damage. Amazingly reliable and inexpensive previous owner and I both use Mobil 1 oil. Best car buy Iceever made.

  This car is strait up awsome. the only proble ive noticed is it needs a little more low end torqe. But Ive put custom exhaust, intake, and fuel system so my GT is absolutly untouchable on the street Ive got 150,000 miles, and the cars got at least 150K togo. I would recommend the Ford Probe GT to anyone (GREAT CAR).

  A Classic - 1995 Ford Probe

  The Ford Probe, is an excelent car, why did Ford discontinue the model... No sales, why you ask? The Ford Special Vehicle Team (SVT) never developed a Probe SVT and they were not advertiseing them as much as they should have. It is a great looking, preforming (GT), and Handleing car. If they came out with the Second Generation Probe again, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

  Awful Car - 1997 Ford Probe

  I owned this car for 5 years and had nothing but problems with it. I spent so much money on repairs including a new transmission. Just last week the car finally died. I sent it off to a salvage yard and went out and bought a 2004 Toyota Corolla, which is of course a wonderful and reliable car! I would never own a Ford after my exprience with the Ford. And yes I understand this is a Mazda engine.

  Lots of fun - 1994 Ford Probe

  I have had my GT for over a year. It now has around 140,000 miles and still runs great. Of course, I have put a lot of money in repairs, but it remains an absolutely wonderful car to drive.
