This is a great first car. Never had a car that handled the track better that was 100% stock. GOOD car to race, FUN car to drive. Seems to last forever.

This is the fourth, and will be the final Ford Probe I have owned. It is a wonderful car with great speed to back up its sleek looks. It holds its own against new car styling while being many years old it always runs well the interior has a sharp design and the look of the GTS racing stripes adds an incredible touch to the car as a whole. I always get looks driving down the street in this thing. The combination of the Mazda drivetrain and Ford body styling makes for a truly unique vehicle.

I bought this car used in 97 with 28,000 miles and its been a really solid vehicle. I had no major repairs to make until 170,000 miles, when the automatic transmission went out. At around $2000 to repair, this is the last of my Probe. But its been the most reliable car I have ever owned.

Ive always loved sporty-looking cars but felt I could never afford one. I needed a car, so I decided to get a sporty one for the first time in my life. I researched a lot of used vehicles on-line and did a lot of comparison shopping. The car I REALLY wanted was a late-model Mitsubushi 3000GT, but it was too pricey overall compared to a Ford Probe. I settled with a 1997 (the last year they were made) black Probe that I found on a dealers on-line site. This was in November 2000. This car had only 24K on the odometer. I got it for their internet price (the price was listed at about $2K higher at the dealership!). I was truly amazed when I first test-drove this car, its fast for a 4-cyl auto!

The Probe is a awesome car to drive - very fun but very reliable. I have had hardly any problems with it nothing big for a 93. Comfortable seating. Big space in the hatch. All in all two thumbs up.

I loved my Probe since the day I bought it. No real problems except the trunk does not stay up when popped and the CV joints always needs replaced. I have the best looking color which is black.

my grandma owned this car before me and she gave it to me for my 16th birthday. ive had it for over 2 years now and it has been a pretty good car i guess. i did have to replace the muffler and ive had to replace the brake pads twice. i also wish it was a v6 because it takes a lot to speed it up quickly like on the highway, and it jumps when it changes speeds. also, my right front blinker has gone out randomly various times and that is very annoying because i know it isnt the bulb, its something in the wiring. the sound system is also of pretty bad quality. other than that, i havent had many problems with it and its pretty reliable. its a nice little sporty car to have

i have gone through many cars and this is one of my favorites to just cruise around in. Great power for a little car. Its fun to drive and there is many tuner options that can be achieved for this car that normally isnt thought of. i put a water pump and timing belt in and i havent had to touch mine. It has ran great.

I bought my 1994 Probe in 1997. It had 32,000 miles on it but looked brand new. I have been very happy with gas milage and still get 25.8 MPG IN City! Other than basic maintenance I have not had to do much mechanically to my Probe. The only disappointment I have had is the fading of the paint and the breaking down of the plastic parts used in some parts of the car. A mechanic explained to me that the problem I sometimes have in cold weather when my door wont unlock by the key is due to the breakdown of the hard plastic used. The same "plastic is used in the seats for the lumbar positioning, etc. My driver seat is forever in the position I need it t
