2001 Ford Mustang GT models get unique hood and side scoops, so that you can tell 'em apart from V6 models. They also receive standard 17-inch wheels, and V6 Convertibles get 16-inch wheels as standard. All cars have a revised center console and blacked-out headlights and spoilers. The Mach 460 stereo system comes with an in-dash six-disc CD changer. A new "premium" trim line is created for both V6 and V8 models. After a one-year hiatus, the Ford SVT Mustang Cobra returns for 2001.

2001 Mustang Convertable - 2001 Ford Mustang
By Bryan - February 17 - 6:36 pmI purchased this 01 Mustang with 44K miles already logged. Mileage is now 68K with only one tune up and a change of disk brakes pads. Very reliable, averages 23mpg all the time. Convertible top is very easy to operate. Great fun economical car. Looks fast sitting still. :-)

By Roling - September 20 - 2:00 amThis car is awesome. I have owned several Mustangs over the years and this by far is the best. Traction control makes those times when I get stuck in the rain not so scary. The retro interior and Torque-Thrust style wheels send me back but with 28 mpg on the highway I can pass gas stations that a 68 Mustang would have had to pull into. With only 5500 produced finding a nice one may be a challenge but if you do, buy it, you will not regret it.
