The 2005 Ford Mustang is completely redesigned.

  • Best Mustang we have ever owned. - 2005 Ford Mustang

My husband and I between us have owned at least 6 Mustangs prior to this one. This car out handles all of them. My husband has been even driving it to work in the snow with little difficulties. This is something that in the past required loading up the hatch area and praying for no stopping on hills. I never even test drove one and when we picked up the car it had the easiest clutch. It is a total joy to drive. We actually somewhat fight over whose turn it is to drive. Any friend we have let drive it says they now need to talk themselves out of buying one.

  • Never a Ford lover..until now. - 2005 Ford Mustang

I have never been a Ford guy. I have always liked GM products. But they took away the Camaro and Firebird. I was looking for a sporty car and the new Mustang caught my eye. My wife saw one at a local park and we decided to test drive one. Well, we went home with it that night. I love my new Mustang. Stick is so much fun to drive. In fact, we loved it so much we went back the next day and bought an automatic on for my wife as well. Now we both love our Mustang convertibles. The Shaker 1000 sound system in mine is awesome. The days go by so long at work now because all I want to do is drive.

  • Wow -- why didnt I buy this sooner! - 2005 Ford Mustang

Ive been a Mustang owner 2 weeks now and wow, asking myself why I waited so long! Jet black V6 premium convertible with upgraded interior (black leather, black top and exterior sports package. Cant forget those side airbags and the active anti-theft for the insurance break. With the new body style it is a head turner from its shiny black exterior to its trippy old style rims. The driving experience is wonderful, hard to put into words really, but you could judge by the big grin on my face each time I drive it. The MPG advertised was accurate; I get about 17 city and up to 25 freeway... the main difference is I WANT to drive it and I take the long way just so I get to drive it more.

  • Pony at 3 1/2 years - 2005 Ford Mustang

As soon as the new Mustangs hit the market in 2004, I knew I had to have one. I found a GT with the premium equipment package just the way I wanted it and at a good price (I was lucky) and took it home in December 2004. The car is now three and a half years old with about 15,000 miles on the odometer. I really enjoy driving the Mustang, and love the looks. Being an early build unit (built on October 4, 2004) it did have many of the bugs and issues the first batch suffered from, including issues with the radio, fuel tank, battery, alternator, and front end suspension. All repairs were covered by the warranty.

  • Its my new daily driver! Sorry 95 5.0 - 2005 Ford Mustang

I waited months to get my hands on this Pony! It was worth the wait! It truly is the best GT Mustang ever to come out of the assembly line. The handling is excellent for a sports car.. it by far exceeds my 2 previous Mustangs (89 & 95). The power (300hp) is evident but sad to say, it still falls short of the last Camaros built. Also dont like all the computer stuff (safety add ons) that prevents it from doing cool stuff like burn outs. Hard to make this car spin tires. Luckily the aftermarket guys already have a remedy for this slight draw back. Nonetheless, its the best GT ever!

This car has been the most awesome ride Ive ever owned. Everything about this car is FUN. Not only is the sleek design of this car is attractive but being able to just cruise with all that power under you is great. This car is extremely quick and has great handling.

What can i said im a Ford lover. This is my Mustang #5 and all I got to say that is a beast on the road. Awesome performance, body design, nice retro dashboard. Bottom line Ford did it again, great work! My only suggestion is the suspension should be dropped at least 1.5 inches. Car needs to be able to handle better in curves.

Ford has outdone themselves with this new retro body style. I have to remember its the car theyre all staring at, because its a real head turner. I acquired the "Mineral Gray" in a premium 6 cyl. coupe, with many of the options offered, for now. GT was just gonna cost too much. The 6 cylinder really has some get up and go, and still gets great mileage. I have been averaging about 24-26 mpg. In a few years I expect that Ford will have fine tuned this car to make it the sweetest thing on the road. I love it, and you will too.
