Overview & Reviews
The 2005 Ford Mustang is completely redesigned.
- Solid V8 power in GT models, about as well mannered as a solid axle suspension can get, slick retro interior, much improved cabin ergonomics.
- No side curtain airbags or stability control, seats could use more lateral support.

First car, couldnt be happier - 2005 Ford Mustang
By vb - August 27 - 10:47 pmI really love this car. Even for a v6, the performance is great for a reasonable price. You barely have to touch the pedal and you get great acceleration. The gas mileage is alright, better than I thought it was going to be considering its a sports car. Interior and exterior designs are both absolutely beautiful. The retro fonts on the gauges take a little getting used to, but this car is a real blast to drive. I have had no problems with the car so far, just like the majority of the reviews said. The tank only costs $40.00 to fill at $3.45 per, which isnt bad. Overall great car in every aspect that makes a sports car what it is.

YOU MISSED ONE THING! - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Dave Roberts - July 12 - 10:00 amThis baby takes me back to 1968, my first Mustang Fastback...shes gorgious in and out! Whew! Finally were getting back to a car design that doesnt look like a backward "sperm" going down the road. Im so tired of talented automobile manufacturers making cars that look like theyre facing a massive headwind while sitting idle in a parking lot-its embarassing. I applaud Ford on its outstanding re-design. Its about time someone in this industry really made honest design without being bombastic. But I have one question about this new Mustang. By its name alone, it was built for the wind. Wheres the convertible? I want the convertible. Dont tease me. I want the Mustang 2005 Convertible.

Super Stang!!! - 2005 Ford Mustang
By danno8080 - July 12 - 10:00 amThe 2005 Ford Mustang is the best example of retro style to come out of Detroit in ages. Agressive looks, a finely assembled interior, and an engine that can blow the doors off most other cars in its class. All I can say is...wait until the SVT Cobra comes out!!!

I Love it! - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Mustang05pony - June 29 - 12:16 amThis is the best car that I have driven in a long time. As the ad states: Get up and gone!" When you kick it and look in the rear view mirror the cars behind you are gone. The stereo in the car is like sitting at a concert. The Shaker 1000 is far superior over the Shaker 500. But with a base in the trunk the 500 sounds great! I highly recommend this car to anyone that wants a car that is "it". Its stylish, dependable, beautiful, and hard to drive anything else. Even my convertible Pontiac is not getting driven as much as it should because I have Mustang withdrawals when I am not driving it. I enjoy it so much that we bought a V-8 too. The downfall - cops pull you over so they can see it.

Splurge for the GT - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Jessica Johnson - June 4 - 10:36 pmI love my new Mustang, its a wonderfully smooth ride, its beautiful, it turns heads. It definitely goes when you hit the gas, but I think I should have paid for the extra 90 horsepower. The traction control is great when it kicks in and I do like playing with the MyColor feature. I find the Shaker 500 is an adequate stereo system -- I dont think the 1000 pays off. The seats and everything seem a little big at first for a female, but now its hard for me to drive my other car. So far the antitheft hasnt done anything, so I dont know much about that. I do love knowing how many miles per gallon I am getting and that sort of thing. Its a fun car- but get a GT.
