The 2005 Ford Mustang is completely redesigned.

• Solid V8 power in GT models, about as well mannered as a solid axle suspension can get, slick retro interior, much improved cabin ergonomics.

• No side curtain airbags or stability control, seats could use more lateral support.

  Does the size of a car really matter? - 2005 Ford Mustang

  The new Ford Mustang is an awesome car. I really like the exterior looks and the feel of the car when you drive it. The car is really great for a single person, but it is a tight squeeze for a family. The front of the car is very roomy, although the rear seat does not have much room. I was willing to deal with the size although I have a family just because I loved the looks of the car. Overall I am happy and very pleased with the performance of my new Mustang. The inside of the car is pretty small but that was a sacrifice I was willing to make to own a car I love.

  I bought this beautiful piece of machinery the last day of the year (2004). I couldnt believe the power it had. Compared to my 2002 GT Mustang it was just amazing. After test driving it I was sold, not to mention the way it looked and felt on the inside. The sound of the exhaust was very impressive and the handling was remarkable; the dash and instrument panel looks like the old Mustangs - very good looking. This car is a blast to drive, the stares you get, the envious looks on peoples faces, Im always getting the thumbs up all the time; word of warning, dont buy this car if you dont like being stared at. But overall the "2005 Mustang" surely is the car to buy.

  Awesome, excellent, more than I expected; a true fountain of youth! Gets the heart rate up and keeps it up - a great warm up before working out or for anything else for that matter! Bought a GT - Windveil Blue Metallic loaded. It gets a lot of looks and inquiries at traffic lights from those less fortunate to not have one! The 300 horses purr and roar at your whim. Excellent performance and handling on Californias canyon & mountain roads and freeways. I actually get to meetings early now cause I want to be out there driving it. You dont have to be pushing it to have a good time driving but knowing that you can let loose anytime is a good thing.

  This is my 7th mustang and even tho I have a few miles on it the driving experience has been great (besides the looks I get). I love the new body style (being it reminds me of the old).

  Best Mustang I drove yet. Owned a 1999 Mustang GT and nothing compares to the 2005, in terms of style, comfort, acceleration and smoothness. A lot of people have asked me a lot of questions when Im parked in a lot and they have all enjoyed the retro look that Ford had designed. Good job to the Ford Team for reinventing the fastback look.

  The new 2005 Mustang GT is my wildest dream come true. The ultimate fusion of classic styling and modern technology. This car is amazing in every way! My Torch Red Premium GT Couple with 5 speed manual transmission is more fun than any of the five prior Mustangs including the 1967 I drove in high school. I highly recommend this car to anyone that wants a brutally wicked hot rod for a very reasonable price. This car is just too awesome to put into words.

  This is my third Mustang. I started with a 6 cylinder. and never looked back. Number two was a GT and now I own the best looking 2005 GT made. White with red stripes. This is the greatest car I have ever owned. Power, performance and personality. From the red stripes to the red leather interior to the dash, this car says power. I recommend only the 5 speed. Why buy a GT then go with the auto transmission. Short shift is very easy, even in traffic. This is an all around great car. I love my pony.

  I think Ford did good when they built this car, it handles, its comfortable and a joy to drive. I believe this style will stick around for a few years. Again Ford did good by this car, couldnt ask for a better built Mustang.

  This is as close to heaven as you can possibly get while on this earth! Though I must say that I would have preferred an original ‘64 1/2, this car is just as great to own, drive, and ride in. If you have the means I highly recommend picking one up; even if only for a test drive or as a rental car. This car will make even the biggest nerd feel like a star! I have been in love with these cars for as long as I can remember and this car is the only one that I would even consider categorizing as one of my favorite cars, beside the original ‘64 1/2 red with white wall tires and white leather interior and a white convertible top, with all original parts.
