Overview & Reviews
The 2005 Ford Mustang is completely redesigned.
- Solid V8 power in GT models, about as well mannered as a solid axle suspension can get, slick retro interior, much improved cabin ergonomics.
- No side curtain airbags or stability control, seats could use more lateral support.

Pony Pams - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Pamela - April 1 - 12:20 amMustang ... says it all! What weve come to love about the Mustang continues today. I have a 1965 GT also. I fell in love with the styling of the Stang. My car gets noticed everywhere. Recent snow, my pony handled great. Built FORD tough. God bless Carroll Shelby!

2005 Mustang GT - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Sam - March 29 - 2:56 pmThis car is an awesome and fun car to drive. Its a real head turner. I got the screaming yellow color with the upgraded interior, and it is really sharp in appearance. And what a performer -it handles turns and curves without a second thought. I love this new Mustang! Very retro, but very new.

Great Car! - 2005 Ford Mustang
By stl23red - March 6 - 4:33 pmSuper car, a great head turner. The only performance problem is that with the automatic it is very, VERY slow off the line, it will not spin the tires. All said, I LOVE my Mustang.

Chicks love the new mustangs too! - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Regina S - January 18 - 8:36 pmI love my new Mustang! Its the first new car i have ever bought, so the Mustang was a perfect choice. I have only seen 8 other Mustangs like mine on the road, so everyone I pass looks at my car. All my friends are jealous, and I dont think Ford could have done a better job remaking the classic Mustangs we all love. The 2005 Ford Mustang is the best model since 1972! Any woman who isnt afraid of horsepower should buy this car; you cant beat it, on the road or off!

what an improvement!! - 2005 Ford Mustang
By zitro - January 5 - 10:53 ami own a 2002 mustang 6 cylinder and decided to do ahead and trade it in for a 2005 v-6. what a difference!! everything that was wrong with the 2002 was fixed with the 2005. smooth ride, precise handling, refined engine that provides powerfulk acceleration, much better than the 2002 powertrain. thye body style is much sexier, and build quality is up noticeably. after 17000 miles, imcluding some racing, i have no reliablilty problems whatsoever. i highly recomend this car, and i wil probably also try the GT!!

Awesome - 2005 Ford Mustang
By christian - December 10 - 10:16 pmI bought the GT Premium with all the upgrades. The 1000 watt System is awesome, although the 6 disk is a little confusing to load. The horsepower is great and I find it hard not to want to really hit. The interior is very nice, although my leg tends to hit the center column and I am a small person. The trunk is very large, even with the Speaker box. I love this car and have owned a 1967 fastback, 1990 convertible and now a 2005 and the 2005 is the best yet. Hope you enjoy........

Great Stang - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Chris - November 27 - 7:46 pmI never thought Id buy a Ford car (I love the trucks), but when I took a test drive in the 05 Mustang, I drove off the lot and said "this is my car". Two days later I picked up the same car and drove it home. And its been a thrill driving to work in the morning (a cool car helps the morning blues!) Great exterior from front to back and a kicking stereo system. Interior is tame and reminiscent of the late 60s models. Love it! Ford outdid themselves on this one-of-a-kind comeback!

2005 Mustang GT - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Charles - October 25 - 10:56 amI have the GT version, Second time owning a Mustang since 1965. In 1965, it was fun to drive and in 2005 the excitement is still there, as well as still attracts attention when you get around other people. This is also the first American made vehicle that I have purchased in years that I did not write a page of items for the dealer to fix. I have gone over this car three times looking for defects and only found one; the dealer did not install the locking wheel nuts. Performance -- have been able to pass anyone that I have wanted to whenever I have wanted to.
