The 2005 Ford Mustang is completely redesigned.

• Solid V8 power in GT models, about as well mannered as a solid axle suspension can get, slick retro interior, much improved cabin ergonomics.

• No side curtain airbags or stability control, seats could use more lateral support.

  I have had no problems with this car whatsoever. Bought this car on a whim. Was looking at the GT but couldnt afford the insurance.

  The new 05 Mustang is a blast to drive with a very responsive and snappy bottom end pull. Zero to 70 is under 5 sec. and continues to pull hard well past. With minor bolt on aftermarket parts, the 05 stang would be just as much and more so a street terror as was the fox body style stangs were of the late 80s and early 90s were. The interior and exterior looks of the car turn heads everywhere it goes. Look out Vette, with some more tuning and power squeezed out, youll be having some heavy breathing on your neck. Ford is on the right track with the new Mustang, and only better can come from this model forward. With a fair price and nice power for a showroom stock car, the 05 Mustang is GREAT!

  I bought a 2005 Mustang GT and it by far is the greatest car I ever owned. I had a 2001 Mustang 5 speed and my new one is an automatic and I thought Id be missing out but the 5-speed transmission makes up for it. It is a very fast and fun car for an affordable price. The interior is nice if you get the upgraded interior package. It has a very comfortable ride for a sports car and unlike some sport cars it doesnt sit so low you think youre driving a go cart. I think Ford gets an A+ for this one.

  What a fun car to drive! It has the look that turns heads and has more get up and go than youd expect from a 6 cylinder engine.

  What a beauty! I have never seen anything attract more stares, than this beautiful screaming yellow Mustang. Great gas mileage, runs smooth, reliable, etc. This beautiful retro version of the 1969 Mustang has the appearance of the 1969 dashboard, that is a real looker. Old and young alike are buying these cars, and if you can find one, buy it!! I understand that Ford has quit making them and they are getting ready for the 2006. I hope they dont copy this one. It is an original and a beauty. I find people taking pictures of it wherever I go. I am going to car shows soon and "cruise the gut" with old friend, in my retro mach Mustang. It has brought a lot of joy to my life!

  I took delivery of thei car in November. Its been nothing but fun. Ive been on 4,400+ mile drives in it and its as comfortable as my Impala. Build quality is great, and its a lot of fun to drive. The hum of the exhaust is something that has to be experienced.

  There is nothing like it for the money. Period. The automatic is unbelieveable. Cant wait for the 2007 Cobra.

  Had this pony for a week and the only thing wrong is the CD player has a mind of its own. Other then that this is one tricked out pony. Great car! Ive had 64.5, 66, 67, 68, and 69 Ponies and this one is like Ford rebuilt all of them into the 05. Great job by Ford.

  A real sports car at a real price, nothing more needed for street driving. Very powerful car, and handles excellent. Ttraction control is a great option as well, although I have the automatic transmission version of this ca. It’s a real fun drive and has been a very reliable car.

  Lots of get up and go. Excellent handling with a smooth ride. Fairly quiet, but with just enough rumble to remind you its a Mustang.
