The 2005 Ford Mustang is completely redesigned.

• Solid V8 power in GT models, about as well mannered as a solid axle suspension can get, slick retro interior, much improved cabin ergonomics.

• No side curtain airbags or stability control, seats could use more lateral support.

  The V6 premium coupe is over shadowed by its big brother. Ford purposely downplays the performance of this model. The 4.0 is all you need. This thing has ample power, and will accelerate in a flash with four people on board. It is a blast to drive, youll find yourself longing for open road.

  Like a lot of car nuts, I put off a decision for 2 years while waiting for this car to arrive. It arrived, and I bought it. Im amazed at the job Ford did with this car. It is a dream to drive, surefooted and solid as a rock. The V6 is a wonder, a huge improvement over the old one. The 5-speed auto shifts as smooth as butter. The styling is .... let me put it this way: Get used to having people come up to talk to you about it. Its one of those cars that looks better in person than it does in pictures ... and the pictures look really good. The car is a knockout. I may never buy another car.

  The looks,stability and the power of this new 05 pony just left me speachless and the live axle plants this GT to the pavement FIRM without worries. After all these years,Im getting goosebumps again everytime I start this Pony up. Great job Ford.

  I just bought this vehicle on 11/10/04 & I must say that Ford got it right with this all new 2005 Mustang!! I have yet to find a feature that I didnt like about this car! Well, one minor detail is that I feel they should put dual exhaust even on the V6 models, but hey, thats what Summit Racing & the other companies are for!

  I absolutely love this vehicle. Ford did a fantastic job redesigning the mustang. The v6 offers plenty of power for me, and if you are doing a lot of stop and go traffic, youll want the v6 anyway for mpg reasons. One thing I would highly recommend is the Interior Upgrade Package. In my opinion, it adds so much more to the interior look.

  This car amazes me. Its just a v-6 but seems to have plenty of power.The same 6 as the Explorer traded in on it. Such a difference Im amazed at the looks I get just driving around. Makes it well worth the price. It drives and handles very well for a non-performance version. Although it did snow the second day I had it and I had to remember how to drive with RWD, been a long time since I did that. But after a couple of miles it all came back to me. I guess thats the advantage of being over 50. Overall its a very solid car, no back seat room to speak of but then again I wasnt looking for any.

  I have been waiting for this moment ALL MY LIFE. The new design is better than I thought it would be and the power and feel is SO sweet! It is truly the talk of the town. The Mustang will ALWAYS be a classic and I think people will be talking about this model for years to come. The back seats have ample room for adults and are surprisingly comfortable. The sound system is not the best, but can be personally upgraded to suit.

  A totally redesigned vehicle. Very tight body and mechanics. A dream to drive. It is truly the hottest looking/driving vehicle on the road right now. Not a day goes by that someone doesnt give me the thumbs up or a smile. Was at a mall the other day and someone bowed twice to the car - really. It is an all American icon that would make Steve McQueen proud. And a real deal. Could buy four GTs for the price of a Porsche, Vette, etc. This baby boomer just loves it more and more every day. Get the five speed manual or dont get the car at all.

  The Ford Mustang GT is a comfortable sports car. It has a beautiful body and it is very flashy. When driving down the road you definitely turn heads. The Mustang is a smooth ride and has a roomy interior. It is fast and very fun to drive. I feel safe when driving it or riding in the passenger seat. It has been my favorite sports car that I have ever owned.
