  • Great Car-Great Price - 2013 Ford Mustang

Ive been driving my Mustang for about six months now, and I have yet to be disappointed. The V-6 engine really has a suprising amount of punch and I simply love the way the Sync system works. The mileage has been as promised, and no warranty issues that need to be fixed. I think a review has a better impact if it has some criticism, but I really dont have anything to criticize. I especially like the entire lighting package-bright exterior, customizable interior. If you are thinking about buying a Mustang-drive it at night-its an entirely different experience.

  • Ford won me over with the Boss 302 - 2013 Ford Mustang

Ill be honest...Ford has been the punchline to many of my jokes for the last 20 years. But I traded my 556-HP Cadillac CTS-V for a 2013 Boss 302 and Ive never been happier. This is a "drivers car". Its simple, its fast and it has a driver-car connection thats unlike any Ive ever experienced. Its balanced and nimble, has miles of grip, race-spec brakes and copious power. The note from the quad exhaust is absolutely sublime. But as hard and loud as it can be when driven in anger, its very comfortable and quiet when highway cruising and has just enough tech to be modern (cruise, Sync, USB/Aux, Bluetooth). The Recaro/Torsen LSD option is a must-have.

I test drove 3 cars in the Ford Line (Fusion, Focus, and Mustang). I selected the Mustang and am glad I did. This car is fun to drive and gets looks from all. The exterior styling is what caught my eye plus the performance from the V6 is excellent. I opted for better MPG so I have the 6 speed manual.

I got my 2013 GT Premium Convertible and have been surprised at how much I really like it. I have never really been a fan of the newer (1980 forward) Mustang designs until I saw this one. The new front and rear design is great. The car turns and handles well, even with the solid rear axle but not as well as the Mazda MX-5 which I upgraded from. The 5.0 V-8 is powerful and responsive with the 6 speed manual and when you stomp on the pedal, it always brings a smile. The upgraded Brembo brakes help a bunch and although you can feel that the car is heavy, it still is a load of fun to drive. Plus the car turns a lot of heads

Ive owned this car for a couple of weeks now and 700 mies. So this is a first impression with 700 miles on the odometer. The 5.0 convertible puts a smile on my face every time we go for a ride. I love the retro styling (old enough to have seen it the first time) and the exahuast note with the top down. Just took the first leg of a 140 mile trip and it performed flawlessly. It is a base model GT convertible with M6 and 301A tech package, which includes SYNC. For the trip with a little preplanning we managed to get everthing in the trunk for a 4 day trip (wife and myself) including a small cooler. Would I buy it again? Yes!!!

Ive had my Mustang for a week, and I love it. It has fantastic giddyup, pretty good mileage, and it looks better than anything else on the road. The engine is swift and responsive, the SelectShift transmission is smooth, and Im enjoying the Electronics package with Sync, Navigation and entertainment options.

You do sit low to the ground. It is a head turner. Just shut up and drive.

I purchased my Mustang used with 48,000 miles on it 4 years ago. I drive just under 100 miles a day back and forth to work and it now has over 120,000 miles on it. This car has been incredibly reliable and has had no major issues (at all). I have done the recommended maintenance since i have purchased it. The peppy V6 is fun to drive while still getting an average of 26-27 MPG (highway and around town). I have the premium model with the upgraded stereo, which is great. The only thing I dont care for is the Bluetooth system. Many times the system wont connect to my phone (Ive had different phones with the same issue). Usually i have to turn the car off and restart it to get it connect. Also, when driving down the freeway at 70 MPH it is hard to hear someone while talking on the phone with the blue tooth system. Many time i need to put on my headphones. Also, the rear seats have just about zero room, but it is a mustang and you dont buy one of these for the back seat leg room. Other than that, It is a great car! I would recommend this car for anyone looking for something fun too drive.

I special ordered this car with the Trac Pack, Recaro leather seats, side scoops, and rear quarter window louvers in Sterling Metallic Gray. The car looks brand new this day. I was unsatisfied with the suspension so replaced the springs, struts, shocks, and sway bars with Eibach parts. Added a Whiteline Watts link to the rear end in order to keep the differential centered and improve road handling. The car has Magna flow performance mufflers and exhaust tubing has been changed to 3” diameter. K&N air filter with cold air intake and Bama Tune complete mods to this date. I don’t know the hp rating, but floor the throttle in second gear at any speed or rpm, with traction control on, and the rear end wants to come around ad tires spin for at least four car lengths. Acceleration is brisk in 5th gear! I love it. Caution is advisable when passing as 70-130 happens very quickly in 4th gear. Rev limit occurs at 7500rpm, enabling 60+ in second. Road hold greatly improved, playing tag with motorcycles on Mulholland drive is fun. Gas mileage sucks if not prudent with go fast pedal, but giggles and grins rise exponentially!

  • 4.5 years and still a great car. - 2013 Ford Mustang

I bought my 2013 Mustang GT M6 new in December of 2012. 4.5 years later I have very little in way of complaints. Ive put 40k miles on it and driven it from Dallas to Key West and from Dallas to Northern Montana, a trip that was 4600 miles. It has performed flawlessly and never broken down. Still has the original brakes, even. Only issues with it were an airbag module recall and a leaky rear diff gasket that were covered under warranty. Couple of things that have been minor issues for me are as follows. Im 63. A telescoping steering wheel would have been nice. The cabin isnt cramped to me at all, and I like the driver position. The ride quality could be a little more comfortable. I dont have the Brembo Package with the stiffer suspension. I have a bad back and extended drives can be a little wearing, though it never stopped me because I simply love to drive. That being said, this isnt a Cadillac, its a performance car. I dont think many other people would necessarily share that complaint. The Shaker 500 audio system is okay. The voice activation for Sync is hit or miss, and the USB port sometimes doesnt recognize that anything is plugged in. I would have liked a higher end more refined stereo system option. Simply adding the sub with the Shaker 1000 wouldnt have been enough. Now the positives. Air Conditioning is cold on demand immediately. The car simply looks fantastic. I like both the Camaro and Challenger, but I think the Mustang has them both beat and is the better value. You will never ever get tired of the 420 horsepower. It is intoxicating. Coupled with the 6 speed manual and youre in for lots of fun. I have never had the wheel hop issue another reviewer posted about, and I am not a gentle driver. This has been a great car that gets a lot of attention. Very few minor issues that could happen with any car, although the Sync System can be irritating. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend one to anyone who was in the market, and Id drive this thing from Panama to Northern Alaska tomorrow if I had the time or inclination.
