The 2005 Ford Mustang is completely redesigned.

• Solid V8 power in GT models, about as well mannered as a solid axle suspension can get, slick retro interior, much improved cabin ergonomics.

• No side curtain airbags or stability control, seats could use more lateral support.

  i work at a Ford dealership as a mechanic so i pretty much know what to buy and what not to buy. The Mustang is one of Fords best cars. I know a 1969 and a 1970 Mustang were also well built. The cars are realiy close in looks thats why i bought - it brings you back to the 60s

  This is one great car. I love the way it drives and sounds. Sixty-eight fastback was always my dream car, so when the new body style came out is was a have to have for me! Love it!

  I recently bought a 2005 Metallic Blue, Mustang GT and it was easily the most fun car I have ever driven. You can feel the force of the acceleration by barely tapping the gas pedal and the stiff suspension allows it to take tight turns with ease. The retro body style is very appealing and I receive many fascinated glances from other motorists. The roar of the engine lets everyone know that this car has some serious power. The Mustang is an absolute joy to drive and it will definitely get you noticed.

  What an incredible car! Mine is a torch red GT with red leather interior and now 1,000 miles, and what fun to drive. Also have an 03 Corvette convertible with 50th Anniversary package, and while I still love it, the Mustang is more immediate fun to drive - fast, sure-handling, great visibility and big fun! Not for the timid - gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes - on the road, at stoplights, in parking lots, etc. Ford got it right this time - drives like the true cousin of my 44K mi, 68 Mercury Cougar XR7 with 390. The sounds & overall feel are much more similiar than I ever would have expected. BIG FUN!

  I have had no problems with this car whatsoever. Bought this car on a whim. Was looking at the GT but couldnt afford the insurance.

  The new 05 Mustang is a blast to drive with a very responsive and snappy bottom end pull. Zero to 70 is under 5 sec. and continues to pull hard well past. With minor bolt on aftermarket parts, the 05 stang would be just as much and more so a street terror as was the fox body style stangs were of the late 80s and early 90s were. The interior and exterior looks of the car turn heads everywhere it goes. Look out Vette, with some more tuning and power squeezed out, youll be having some heavy breathing on your neck. Ford is on the right track with the new Mustang, and only better can come from this model forward. With a fair price and nice power for a showroom stock car, the 05 Mustang is GREAT!

  What a fun car to drive! It has the look that turns heads and has more get up and go than youd expect from a 6 cylinder engine.

  What a beauty! I have never seen anything attract more stares, than this beautiful screaming yellow Mustang. Great gas mileage, runs smooth, reliable, etc. This beautiful retro version of the 1969 Mustang has the appearance of the 1969 dashboard, that is a real looker. Old and young alike are buying these cars, and if you can find one, buy it!! I understand that Ford has quit making them and they are getting ready for the 2006. I hope they dont copy this one. It is an original and a beauty. I find people taking pictures of it wherever I go. I am going to car shows soon and "cruise the gut" with old friend, in my retro mach Mustang. It has brought a lot of joy to my life!

  I took delivery of thei car in November. Its been nothing but fun. Ive been on 4,400+ mile drives in it and its as comfortable as my Impala. Build quality is great, and its a lot of fun to drive. The hum of the exhaust is something that has to be experienced.
