The 2005 Ford Mustang is completely redesigned.

Pros:
  • Solid V8 power in GT models, about as well mannered as a solid axle suspension can get, slick retro interior, much improved cabin ergonomics.

I was looking for a car with moderate/good performance with an automatic transmission, rear wheel drive and a reasonable price. This is about the only car that I found that met these requirements. Performance is great for a V6, and the handling is great. Automatic transmission is excellent - you almost forget that the transmission is there. Styling, both interior and exterior, is a perfect combination of old and new.

This is the most comfortable car I have ever driven. Now that our daughter is grown, I was able to buy a car that I wanted. I didnt want a "granny" car. This was the best decision that I ever made. The V6 has PLENTY of power, almost too much for driving around in the city. The "Growl" transmission is fun. The Shaker 500 Stereo is wonderful. It actually shakes the windows. The "Spinner" wheels look great and the appearance package with the spoiler and stripe couldnt be better. I would recommend the 05 V6 to anyone who wants a fun to drive, beautiful, eye catching car!

Just like many others out there, Ive been salivating over the 05 Mustang since Ford first announced the new design. I just got my car (Silver w/ black leather interior) and let me tell you, its worth every penny. The dealer was telling me that Ford is overwhelmed by demand and buyers are waiting 6 months for delivery of their GTs. I would like to share with you that it is possible to get one. I didnt order my car in advance, but rather convinced the salesman that I was a serious buyer and to call me if a buyer who ordered one changed his mind when the car came in. He (to my amazement) called a week later. I was at the dealer within 90 minutes. They didnt even charge over sticker!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CAR. IT IS FUN, FAST AND BEAUTIFUL! EVERYWHERE WE GO PEOPLE STOP AND STARE- IT IS LIKE WE ARE FAMOUS AND OWE IT ALL TO MY CAR. I RACED A Z-28 AND WON. THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS CAR IS THAT IT IS AFFORDABLE ENOUGH TO USE EVERYDAY - BUT LUXURIOUS ENOUGH TO PAINT THE TOWN. FORD HAS WON BIG WITH THIS MODEL- WHAT A HIT!! I AM SO MESMERIZED BY THIS MODEL AND IT DEFINETLY PAYS HOMAGE TO OLD DAYS. WE CHOSE THE LEGEND LIME GREEN AND FEEL LIKE WE ARE THE ONLY CAR ON THE ROAD WHEN WE DRIVE IT. WE ALSO PLAN TO JOIN ONE OF THE LOCAL MUSTANG CLUBS AND NOW LIVIN LA VIDA LOCA.

  • Hi-Tech meets Old-School - 2005 Ford Mustang

By far the best retro-styled auto on the market, Ive owned mine for about a month now and have yet to find anything about it that I think Ford really missed on. She has great looks, a comfortable ride, handles like a sports car should, and believe me, when you go to the whip she really responds. Ive always been a fan of the old Mustangs, but the 05s mix of current technology and old school looks may make it the first true vintage piece of the new century. Youll see these cars in mall shows 20 years from now.

Love it! Love it! Love it! I cannot say enough about my 2005 Torch Red Mustang. The minute I saw it, I went back to 1966. My 74 Mustang II was fun, but did not live up the the original. Now at 50+ I am driving a sporty car again. (I traded in a Taurus Wagon).

  • A REALLY fun car! - 2005 Ford Mustang

Got this as soon as it came out - was hard to find too. A quick little car - and EVERYONE stops to look ! Got the V8 5 speed with tan leather and the mineral grey color - though the grey is more tanish I think, but it looks nice on the car. My kids LOVE it too. Already put new black chrome wheels on it and looking for an aftermarket bumper. A really fun car! If youre going to buy this car - dont bother with the V6 - getting a car with some attitude - inside and out - is the whole point !

  • Flat out the BEST Mustang ever built! - 2005 Ford Mustang

This car has everything you want from an American made Muscle Car and nothing you dont! It has all of the power you need and the styling and comfort you desire. Ford has definitely turned the tables with the 2005 model. I feel sorry for those people who settled on a good deal on the 2004 models Ford was quickly trying to phase out at the dealerships without test driving the 2005 first. The sound system cannot be beat with 1,000 watts of power coming from 10 speakers. The Mycolor gauges are a very nice added touch. The fit and finish of this vehicle is near the top for Ford standards.
