The car is so comfortable. i have back problems but none when i drive it. The transmission is awesome. Automatic sounds like a manual so you still get that sports car feel. Engine purrs. it is just so fun to drive. I used to consider driving a way to get from point a to point b; no more. We fight over who gets to drive it.

  • For my wife - 2005 Ford Mustang

My wife was thinking of getting a new car. I surprised her with a new Mustang. I was gonna buy a coupe but my dealer gave me a great deal on a convertible. As there are still so few convertibles available we were lucky to get one and are we glad we did! Its screaming yellow just like all the print ads. I added the GT grill and fog lights and the car is a real head turner. We love it! The car is a blast to drive and the V6 has plenty of power. No need for a GT. This is the best Mustang to date.

  • Lexus to Mustang - 2005 Ford Mustang

This is the first Ford i ever purchased. Going from a 2003 Lexus RX300 SUV to a performance sports car might seem crazy. However I am turning 30 next month and I need some excitement. It is awesome, fast, good looking, and just all around cool. Had to go with the automatic because of my wife, but the performance is not much different. This is by far my favorite of 8, yes 8 new cars I have had in the last 10 years. By the way I was only able to drive the V6 coupe before purchasing my convertible. GT. Thank you Ford for not letting me down.

  • I love my car! - 2005 Ford Mustang

I bought this car as a present to myself for getting my graduate degree. Im a single mom and so tired of being practical! My kids and I love cranking the music and putting the top down! There are a few small things Id change but I have so much fun with this car. Even ordered a vanity plate!

  • Front end noises - 2005 Ford Mustang

I bought my 05 Mustang GT this past February and really love it! The performance and the muscle sound of the car takes me back to my 67 HP 289. It does, however, make some very annoying popping noises in the front steering mechanism that even my dealer recognized as a problem. Its taken Ford engineers over 2 months to come up with a fix and mine is still not corrected (now were waiting on the parts). If the car was not such a fun vehicle, I would be very disappointed. I hate to admit this but this is precisely why Ive not bought American built vehicles for a long time.

  • Supercharged GT is Super - 2005 Ford Mustang

Our 05 Supercharged Mustang GT Premium is a real blast to drive! We loved the stock 300 H.P. Stang as it came, after we added the Vortech SQ polished Supercharger with the matching air-to-water intercooler she really came to life! The Supercharger with the intercooler is the answer to serious Stang 500 H.P. The Vortech is a real addition to the beauty of this car as well. We show it in the local CA. car shows and people always flock around to check it out.We take people out for a little test drive and they are always so surprized at the power this Stang will display."Im still shaking" is not uncommon. In terms of bang for the buck, you cant beat the supercharged Stang!

  • Perfect - 2005 Ford Mustang

I have had my 05 GT for 12 days now and it is flat-out the best new Ford in nearly forever. Over the weekend I took it down to Arizona (from Nevada) and, with cruise set at 80 mph, I averaged nearly 27 mpg. Overall I am getting about 16 in town and 25 on the highway -- just about what the window sticker says (thats a first!). Unlike previous Mustangs, this one actually handles well. Its been raining virtually non-stop here since I picked up the car and I have yet to really break loose with the traction control on. The interior is a perfect throwback to the 60s heritage and the sound system is amazing. BTW, I paid slightly below MSRP for mine.

  • Windveil Blue Stanger - 2005 Ford Mustang

Car handles well and corners great. The smooth shifting of the transmission makes for quick response. Had trouble finding O/D off-on switch at first. Radio (Shaker 500) puts out great sound especially with the CD player. Spinners on wheels were a nice touch. Really was surprised to find traction type bars underneath as well as the aluminum hog head cover. Sounds like a V8 even though only single exhaust. Retro features and clean lines both outside and interior make for a great looking car. Inside storage not very good, door storage could be made somewhat larger; other than that though, a great car. Well worth the money. Have had nothing but compliments from all who have looked at it. Thanks.

  • 2005 ROUSH COUPE - 2005 Ford Mustang
    By -

Went to the dealer looking to see what was left. Late July usually the stock is out. Spotted a Roush in Windveil Blue and I was sold. Took it for a fast test ride and didnt need to even talk. The dealer put it into the discount package and the price was great. This car sounds like a Mustang should. Accelerates and almost begs you to hit it harder. Handling is outstanding. The only drawback is the passenger seat is low, but who cares. I wont be in that seat anyway, and the only trunk operation is on the remote or key. BTW, the trunk fits the golf clubs perfectly, so how could I say no.
