Overview & Reviews
The 2005 Ford Mustang is completely redesigned.
- Solid V8 power in GT models, about as well mannered as a solid axle suspension can get, slick retro interior, much improved cabin ergonomics.
- No side curtain airbags or stability control, seats could use more lateral support.

What More Could You Want - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Bill E. - September 6 - 10:36 amWhere to start? Looks are unbeatable. Theres a reason the Mustang is the only true Pony car still in production and this is Exhibit A. No doubt it shows what the domestics can do if they put their mind to it. Inside and out its light years ahead of the 2000 model I traded in when purchasing. Power, ride, comfort, and lest I forget that GT rumble coming out of the pipes. A truly great automobile that I hope to own for many years. Mine is a black 5 speed I mean why buy this car with an automatic? Ive had more people stop to comment on it than I can count. Ford youve hit the nail on the head.

First Mustang Ever - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Class of 65 - September 3 - 12:36 amThis is a great car!! I always wanted a Mustang when I was kid and it only took 40 plus years to get one. I love the retro styling and the price for new age muscle car. This is my first Ford ever and I cant believe its as comfortable as it is, for an old guy like me.

Just having fun - 2005 Ford Mustang
By EZROK - September 2 - 5:00 amI knew this was my car when I sat in it at the Houston Auto show. I have had problems getting in and out of past models; this one fits like a glove. Everything is exactly where it should be. The "retro" look and feel makes this a really classy ride thats very collectible. As you can tell, very pleased guy here. Go get yourself one!

Pure Satisfaction - 2005 Ford Mustang
By Paul Mullins - July 27 - 1:00 amA return to its roots. I own a black GT. I had double silver stripes added, then found the Bullit style mag wheels. The fit and finish are excellent. Ford went back to the drawing board with this one, and turned out a winner. The car handles like a dream, and theres nothing that can touch it for pure lateral acceleration. 0-60 in 4.9 seconds.I dont use all that power, but its nice to know its available. The car is a head turner on the road. Many times, Ive had to avoid someone because theyre looking at the car and not looking at where theyre going.

Amazing package - 2005 Ford Mustang
By rt - July 13 - 12:17 pmI have the 2005 Mustang Deluxe and have been amazed with the car. The handling, looks/style, performance and most of all, the great highway gas mileage. I get about 32 miles to the gallon on the highway which is very satisfactory. I have owned many cars since the 1960s and never have I had so many people of all ages compliment my car like this 05 Mustang. The trunk is roomy, the handling and improved driver positioning is so much better than the 02 Mustang I had.

eye magnet - 2005 Ford Mustang
By jim swisher - July 9 - 7:46 amI sold off my 76 Corvette for the 05 Ford Mustang convertible. It is a true sports car with a back seat and a trunk. Though a little tight, its more than i had before. Ford finally got the looks right. the Mustang II look is over. This is straight out of the Sixties! The 4.0L/210 h.p. pulls good with the 5 speed transmission. Iif you can afford $6.00 more per fill up go 4.6L/300 hp, youll get an extra muffler too). Well built and handles well for stock suspension. Im impressed. Go test drive one for yourself.
