My car - 1996 Ford Mustang
By 96gtJohn - April 1 - 1:15 pmI purchased my Gt october of 07. Excited as hell the first day in it i nearly crashed it. I bought the car from a friend of mines that worked at the for dealership and he bought it from another guy at the same dealership. The car is far from stock. Since I have owned the car Ive changed the headlights, taillights, tinted the windows, lowered the car. I have also added the K&N cold air intake (great purchase) I have changed the throttle body, also added the slp loudmouth shotgun resonators which sound amazing, i have also put wider (275) meaty tires to get the car to stick, larger brakes, 04 cobra tranny, and to top it off i had the car paint purple/ black with metal flakes.

Excellent car - 1996 Ford Mustang
By rainydal - March 22 - 11:00 pmI love my Stang! I bought it five years ago, and have sped around in it everyday. It handles great in snow and rain considering it is rear wheel drive. Today a drunk driver smashed it up and I am so depressed.

Swaggs 1996 Ford Mustang GTRĀ® - 1996 Ford Mustang
By Jonh SWaggerty - April 9 - 11:26 pmThe 1996 Ford Mustang GTRĀ® has started up every time I have ever turned the key. I have had very little trouble finding parts for repairs (when necessary) as well as performance parts. I also think the ride quality is superior to previous years and the power is much improved with the 4.6L. Although the car lacks rwhp in its factory trim it makes up for it with torque. Also it is a solid car and hooks very well. The GT is ready for modifications in hp, which is truly the hallmark of a mustang, affording the opportunity for personalization.

Fun car, worth the money. - 1996 Ford Mustang
By Black96GT - July 14 - 5:00 amI love my 96 GT. I dont understand all the bad reviews, its mostly people who dont even know how to maintain a car anyway. If you take care of it, it should be a good car. I keep up all regular maintenance mine is great. Only thing I really have to complain about is that piece of junk plastic intake crossover. I broke it 2 weeks after getting the car and it cost me $700 to replace the manifold. If you buy one of these things, try to get one that already has the aluminum replacement. Other than that, great car. Not that fast for a v8 but not slow either, and definitely not bad for its time. Handles MUCH better than expected also. I love my pony.

Awesome Car - 1996 Ford Mustang
By MustangMach1 - February 25 - 12:17 amI bought this Stang in January of 2004 and have had no problems whatsoever. Tires wear fast, but with a car that looks like a Mustang, who cares? I love this car. I put Cobra rims on and have had no extreme tire wear since. Also with the installed Flowmaster dual exhaust it always gets confused for a GT. I would reccomend this car to anyone who likes to drop the hammer once in awhile and hear the exhaust scream.

Love My Stang - 1996 Ford Mustang
By Lilstang38 - January 4 - 2:00 amI bought my Stang new in 96, only had one problem with it so far. Replaced fuel pump under warranty at 1500 mi. No abnormal wear and tear on any parts. Changed front pads at 108,000 mi. and still had 3/8 in. of lining left, still have a 1/2 in. of lining on the rear. This car has been just awesome all the way around.

Great Car!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 1996 Ford Mustang
By yasilyn - December 26 - 2:00 amI have had this car almost 2 years, it was purchased for a work vehicle because we got a good deal. I love the great gas mileage and the performance, but again there is the tire issue. But luckily I have had great luck with the engine it has 90,000 and not any problems other than regular matienance. All together I have been greatly suprised by this peppy little machine.
