First the paint went bad. Then the air conditioning went bad. Transmission went bad twice and needed replacement. Then the door locks and windows broke. Both windows stopped going up and down within a week’s time. It wasnt too bad on gas when it was running but overall it was a ford and had many problems. I almost forgot the speedometer was intermittent and the odometer stopped working. I would have been better off scraping it when the first transmission went bad.

Its been 9 years since i got this 5.0 Mustang GT... its too bad that i had to buy automatic transmission... so far in 9 years it had one major problem and few minor problems... such as winshield wiper motor, rattling sounds from doors and shocks when driving on the rough streets...and the biggest one was the transmission... which i think its got to do with automatic transmission in 200+HP 5.0 liter engine equiped sports car..... (i guess automatic transmission couldnt handle the way i drive...) except from these problem car is still running fine and it certainly is not out of fashioned for 9 year old car...

I LOVED my car eventhough I seemed to have to do more to keep it running. Until the head gasket blew. The mechanic told me the 3.8 V6 was famous for this defect! Ill never own another Ford

  • Not all that I had hoped for. - 1995 Ford Mustang

Well, how do I say this nicely, its a Ford. Maybe I was spoiled from driving Hondas and Toyotas for so many years, but this 95 Gt is a clunky, noisy, poor handling(especially in bad weather), likely to break down at any minute, type of car. I read alot of articles featuring the Mustang as the "ultimate muscle car", and wanted something with a litle go-fast, so I bought a 95 Mustang GT ( the last year of the 302). Even thought the aftermarket is huge for this vehicle, I would be nervous making it any faster because it might rattle apart. From what Ive seen, this is typical unrefined Ford engineering..oh well.

  • Plan on purchasing a new engine - 1995 Ford Mustang

The only thing about this car is that it looks good. Other than that plan on replacing the heads or totally getting a new engine. I will never purchase a Ford again due to their lack of informing that my engine could have defects or them totally giving me the run around when I called to get my vechile fixed. I ended up replacing the engine myself because I was just a few miles over the recall amount. I have had both! Its not worth it in the long run, trust me dont let your heart buy your mind and wallet a nightmare.

  • head gaskets... - 1995 Ford Mustang

i first purchased this vehicle expecting a sporty reliable car with 54k miles. at 56k miles, the exhaust was shot including the cats, at 58k miles the head gaskets blew, which was a costly and time consuming repair. turned out the gaskets were installed incorrectly, and ford knew. owner notification was initiated a few months later, with an apology, and an offer for reimbursment, good, but not as good as my moms toyota with 140,000 miles and no engine trouble.
