  • Love it! - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

Perspective: Bought this car after driving a 2003 Honda Accord V6 w/Nav for the past 7 years. Wanted all the things I loved about my Accord, but with AWD and some driving fun. Fusion fit the bill. 1200 miles into it the car is very fun to drive and impressing me everyday. Corners great and accel. is equal to/better than my Accord (but Fusion is AWD) Quiet cabin but enough engine noise to feel sporty. SYNC=Amazing. I have Nav screen and love every feature. BLIS/cross-traffic/back up cam work great. Stereo Rocks! Just missed the last snowfall, so AWD review will have to wait. Im an Average Joe who needs to haul two small kids safely in WI, but want to have fun doing it. So far, this is it!

  • Way to go Ford! - 2010 Ford Fusion

I was first introduced to the Ford Fusion when renting a car via Hertz last year. I was given a 2009 V6 SE model. I was blown away by the performance, comfort and overall build quality of the vehicle. I was so impressed that the 2010 Fusion ended up on a short list of possibilities as a replacement car for my wife. We test drove, and purchased on the spot, a 2010 Sport AWD model. This car is an absolute delight to drive; it is fast, smooth, comfortable and build quality (fit & finish) is excellent. This car will no doubt be a hit for Ford. Anyone currently driving or shopping for an import should take a close look at the Fusion.

  • I love this car - 2010 Ford Fusion

Both my husband and I have had only foreign cars in the past. He has a 2009 Honda Accord and I had a Toyota Camry before I decided it was time to buy a new car. I test drove both the Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima. The Ford Fusion won hands down. I love this car. It really should be in a Luxury car class. My husband is trying to covince me that he should drive my Fusion and I should take his Accord. No way! The Accord does not handle as well as the Fusion and cost us more money. Its about time an american auto company came out with a car like this. If you choose to buy a Honda Accord or even a Toyota Camry instead of a Fusion, its your loss big time.

  • Transmission and starter problems - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

At about 1000 miles the automatic transmission started slipping. Ford does not know how to fix the problem. At about 2000 miles the starter motor at times does not engage the engine and at times it will not disengage after the engine starts. A Ford representative suggested trading the car in. The car now has 2600 miles and my wife is scared to drive her new car.

The 2010 Ford Fusion is an exceptional American made car. The styling is outstanding, and the mileage is impressive for a non-hybrid car. I have had the car for three weeks now, and I have yet to find any defects. The power is sufficient (its a somewhat small I-4 for gas mileage), and the six speed transmission is great. The interior has been improved significantly from the 2009, and nothing in it seems cheap or out of place. The guages and switches are all in reasonably located positions. I particularly love the main guages, their colors and lighting, and the way they reset themselves each time you start the car. I love it.

  • Awesome Car - 2010 Ford Fusion

Great Job Ford! My 4th month of ownership and nothing but positive things to say so far. Nice balance between fuel economy and power with the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder (definite improvement over the 2.3 liter available on last years model). The 6 speed automatic transmission is silky smooth. Trunk space is cavernous, and the interior is whisper quiet if not refined. Sync system is phenomenal. Test drove Camry and Accord also---no comparison, Fusion was better hands down in most areas. Great styling, get compliments all the time. Ford has done their homework. Would purchase again in a heartbeat.

  • Best Value in Class - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

Purchased a Sport AWD fully loaded. Great looking car and with the latest technology. Certainly fun to drive with excellent handling and power. Mileage great too, nearly 27 mpg on a 700+ mile trip at speeds averaging 75-80 mph. Looked at 3-series BMW, Audi A4, Acura and Infiniti G37-- all at least $10-15K more with the G37 only one having more power. Best buy in this class especially after rebates. Ford got this one right!! Final thought: Many buyers would not think of looking at a Ford, so they pay dearly for the import name and eventually the high maintenance.

  • ups and downs, - 2010 Ford Fusion

amazing car over all, a little to low of topspeed. but out puts so many cars 0-60

  • so far so good - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

Solid, well made, well equipped. Excellent fit & finish. Lots of great options for the $$$. Except for a little tire noise it has a really nice smooth quiet ride. Not like a Lexus, but for 8-10K less theres not that much difference. Sony sound system is AWESOME, and the sync system for phones & ipods is great. Drawbacks....the cross-traffic and reverse parking assist features seem a little erratic. Sometimes they work good, sometimes not so good. For 29K there should maybe a lock on the glove box...and a lite inside it. All in all a great car. My first Ford EVER and Im more than pleased with it.

  • Gas Mileage Good - Comfort Poor - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

Ive driven a few hundred miles already in the fusion. Here is my take: - Gas is great. I drive mostly on the freeway and Ill get between 31 and 40 mpg on the freeway depending on traffic, speed and drifting. - Comfort is poor. Its small inside. Not for big guys (and girls). Not for tall guys (and girls). Your legs will be pushed up against the sides or your head will hit the roof. - Features are fabulous. SYNC is great. Radio, Ipod, USB, GPS, etc.
