  • Fusion Sport AWD - 2010 Ford Fusion

Picked a Fusion Sport AWD after looking at Mazda 6sGT and Accord Coupe EX-L V-6/stick, both great cars. The Accord coupe was really fun with great drive train & excellent response. The Mazda was comfortable & quick, but bland. The Fusion had very quiet, roomy interior & trunk, sure-footed handling, smooth power & AWD. Sync is way better than the simple aux input that the Honda offers for phone & media integration. More integrated front styling is distinctive. The wheel/tire & aero bits add to the image without looking tacky. Great Euro/American blend hints of Mercedes and BMW styling but is distinctly American. Interior is first rate and rivals the Accord coupe for quality and comfort.

Just picked up my wifes 2010 Fusion SEL today. I traded a 2008 Honda Accord in because of the rear brake problems that Honda would not take care of. This Fusion rides soo much better than the Accord did. The microsoft Sync system is much better than anything on the market. You get the feel of a much more expensive car when you drive this machine. Beechmont Ford in Cincinnati did a great job. For once in my life all my money numbers from the research I did on Edmunds matched the truth in lending form in the dealers finance office on this car, no hidden fees.

  • 62 yrs old and 1st ford ever - 2010 Ford Fusion

had this fusion hybrid a month now and a great decision. With the fed tax credit and dealer discount the hybrid extra cost is well worth it. I am getting better mileage than advertised- about 43 city and 42 hwy. The battery is warranteed for 100,000 miles. This car is super smooth and quiet on the road. Great handling. I have had new cadillacs and corvettes and super sports and I am liking this car more for far less money. So many things are standard on this car that i got the base model with more equipment than what came on my super sport. This fusion is everything ford bragged it to be and more. Very happy with it

  • Transmission Stinks!! - 2010 Ford Fusion

Bought my Fusion in mid-late August 2009. At 3,000 miles the water pump went out. I heard a lot of squeaking and the more I drove it the worse it got. I took it to the dealership and the they said the water pump went out. Took a week or so to get parts and fix it. On March 8th the transmission just about went out completely. Took it back to the dealership and they said the clutches and valve body need replaced and the parts are on back order for a long time. They got Ford to give me a rental car. Also there is times the starter sticks and the car will not start, will take 4 attempts for the car to start. I think I have a LEMON!

  • Happy to be back with Ford - 2010 Ford Fusion

Handles very well. Smooth on the road. Tires are rated 44 psi and they had 40 when I drove off. A bit choppy so I dropped pressure to 34 PSI and it made a nice difference. (Door sticker states 31 psi) I have an SE model but it is nicely equipped with optional sun-roof and spoiler. I love the style and the crisp handling. Gas Mileage seems to be in the 30s avg. but I do a lot of highway. Well see as it breaks in more. Very happy with the purchase. Fit and finish is excellent.

We traded in a 2008 Acrua TL Type S for the 2010 Fusion Sport. No regrets, its a better value. Love the Sport. It runs and shifts smoother, is more quiet, is much more comfortable, and drives better. We liked the Acura a lot but this Fusion Sport is a much better car. This Sport has all the features the Type S had like Navi, back-up camera, plus, blind spot info and back- up warning sensors.

  • So Far, So Good - 2010 Ford Fusion

Ive owned my 2010 Ford Fusion Sport for nearly 4 months and I have no regrets about my purchase. I continue to enjoy the power of the 3.5L V-6, crisp handling, and quiet ride. Its a nimble-enough of a car in-town and a smooth performer on open highways. The leather-upholstered seats are fairly comfortable. I have found the EPA fuel mileage estimates to be very accurate for both city and highway driving (21/26 mpg). Its an attractive car; my friends really like it and strangers have come up to ask me (in a nice way) to find out what kind of car it is! The main "disappointment" would be the brakes -- they could be a bit more resolute.

  • Great Car - 2010 Ford Fusion

Have enjoyed two long trips in the car to New Orleans and the Catskills. Trunk is huge. Rear does not bottom with two men in back and full trunk of luggage and tools. Short trip town mileage is 20-21 mpg and highway is 26-27. The V6 moves the car easily and highway passing is great. Love the progressive pressure brakes. Car is exceptionally quiet. I love the fit and finish. Sound system is great with the 12 speaker Sony. My Sterling Gray Metallic is the most beautiful metallic Ive ever seen.

  • Hard To Beat - 2010 Ford Fusion

This is one terrific car. It is easy and fun to drive, handles well, does well on gas, is very comfortable, and best of all IT DOES NOT HAVE ONSTAR. That alone is what steered me away from GM. Do yourself a favor and request the brochure from Ford online and youll get an extra $750 off. With rebates, incentives, etc. I got this pretty well loaded car for about $5,000 below sticker price. Great buy on great car. If GM finally gets around to introducing more new cars than new CEOs AND offer what people really want without useless nonsense like OnStar they might start to get it right.
