  • Chose Fusion Sport over Lincoln MKZ - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

Oiginally considered a Lincoln MKZ, the same basic car but with fancier options, but it seemed too much like an old man car. Fusion Sport has almost all the same options with a sportier look. Got it with AWD and handling is great. I think I will tear up the factory tires for the next year and then splurge on some nicer ones. Engine has good pickup... doesnt really snarl like a true sports car but acceleration is effortless. In tuxedo black, the car turns some heads and the exterior on the 2010 is a big improvement over the previous Fusions. So far, Im really enjoying it.

  • Impressive power - 2010 Ford Fusion

Not only does this car look hot, it handles great and is very fun to drive. The 2.5 4 cylinder is very capable on the highway and not at all depressing around town. In fact I keep finding myself having to back off the gas a little after looking down at the speedo or getting a tap from the wife. Its that kind of a smooth sailing machine, if you know what I mean. Ford hit the mark with this one!

  • Surprisingly good! - 2010 Ford Fusion

I rented one in Kansas City and drove across the state getting 30+ mpg on the highway. Very smooth through the back roads. Typical controls (thats a good thing), nice power drivers seat, big trunk, leg room for grown-ups! Good stereo. I like the no-cap gas filler. Total miles driven - 1500 in 4 days.

  • HAPPY SURPRISE - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

After talking myself out of my 04 Lincoln LS and into a "gas friendly" vehicle, I have been happily surprised just how much I really like my new Fusion. It just sips fuel, regular at that. Smoother on the road than my Lincoln LS and surprisingly comfortable. Wind noise, forget it! Finally......... Good job Ford!

  • 2010 SEL 3.0 V6 with sport package - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

Before I purchased this car I looked at the Accord and Camry. Fit and finish I would say the Honda was a hair better but the Ford was much nicer then the Toyota, especially in design. Performance and driving were very close with all models but I found the ford more fun. I liked the idea of a V6 without having to go to the sport. Mileage was about 27mpg during the summer but Im down to high 23s this winter. My 3.0 doesnt seem to like the winter blend. The car is very fun to drive and with a manual transmission it would be almost perfect. I do have two issues, one is a high pitched wine from the fan motor and a clunk from the drivers side rear door. I will be taking it in shortly.

  • Not a happy first time Ford owner - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

Bought a Ford for the first time (Fusion SE) The car seemed to struggle as it automatically shifted through the gears. Dealer couldnt find a problem & the husband insisted there was. My husbands thought was to have them drive it for at least a 60 mile period as he noticed more on his work days. Manager took the car home, put a monitor on the car and suddenly the found a problem. They told us it was a defect in the transmission and they would replace it. Only 6500 miles? Warranty on the trans doesnt start over and some owners had 2 or 3 transmissions replaced. Defect on the fuel filler (new part installed.Took for granted my automatic lights on my buick. This 2010 Ford doesnt have them???

This car is fun to drive and it handles great. I strongly recommend others buy it if they are looking for an attractive AWD sedan that is affordable.

  • Not disapointed - 2010 Ford Fusion

I took a lot of time reading reviews. This car meets or exceeds everything written about the car. I think it rides as nice as my Lexus RX330. Very happy to find an American made car which matches up nicely with the imports. Good job Ford. I recommend buying this car. I love it.

  • Wow very Impressed - 2010 Ford Fusion

Ford has really gotten their act together with the Fusion, its a well built fuel efficient car. I love the new style for 2010! I looked at the Accord,Mazda 6, and the Malibu. The Fusion blew them all away.

Overall, Im very satisfied with this car! While its a 4 cylinder, its zippy and responsive. The inside feels refined and is very comfortable to ride in. Its easy to carry 4 full sized adults in comfort. Its a great choice for a midsize sedan while still hanging on to the cool and responsive side of the world.
