  • Smiling from ear to ear - 2006 Ford Fusion

Wow. I got my SE V-6 Fusion a few months ago, black with tan leather interior. Coming from a guy in his 20s, I think the car looks phenomenal. I definitely get a lot of looks on the road. I like the style of the interior too (especially the offset-color stitching in the leather seats & carbon fiber in the dash). Plus it handles great and is a ton of fun to drive. The quality of fit and finish -- interior and exterior -- is very high. Ive got 7k miles on my Fusion so far and I couldnt be happier. Good value for the money spent.

  • An all around fun and ergonomic car - 2006 Ford Fusion

I have only had my SE with the 6 cylinder auto for a little over a month. I am coming up on 3000 miles. First of all, I would like to comment about the car having an all aluminum engine. Nascar is using the same all aluminum engine, but bored and stroked to the maximum. If it can take that abuse, I know that my abuse would be nothing to its engine. I love the way that it rides, and am replacing a Mazda 6S auto with the Fusion. It handles better then the Mazda. I love its acceleration and have always owned foreign cars. I am averaging about 25-30 on the highway and 25 in city. I am now " talking " Ford.

  • Cool car plus safety features - 2006 Ford Fusion

I researched, looked at and drove vehicles for two months. Safety features like side airbags, traction control and anti-lock brakes were important to me. I did not want a mom van or a gas hog SUV. Toyota and Honda car models were very pricey. The Fusion has the power and smooth ride I was looking for without the expensive car price. It is fun to drive and gets lots of looks. The controls on the steering wheel are easy to use while driving. The back seat is comfortable for two kids.

Just completed my first month with this car. Best car I have ever owned. Superb handling and fit. Quality is near perfection. Very quiet at all speeds. Plenty of power. Seats are very comfortable. Beautiful design. Fun to drive. Intelligent lay out of dash board. Sound system like a concert hall. I love the 1950s analog clock in the dash. After driving this car I cant understand why anyone would want to buy a Toyota or a Honda.

This car handles and rides the best that have driven in my 49 years of driving. Averaging approximately 29 miles to a gallon which is the best that Ive ever had.

Purchased a loaded SEL with all options. Ford has done its homework with this sedan. Value is what this vehicle has over the other 2 main players in this segment. For the price I paid, you couldnt touch a like sedan with like options for this price. Granted, plastics could be a bit better on the interior. Quiet, comfortable ride. Road feel is minimal. Handles fantastic around curves. 221HP V6 is plenty for this vehicle. V6 costs same or even less than 4 cylinder models in like sedans. Tinted glass would be nice.

  • Wow Ford puts Fun back in Driving - 2006 Ford Fusion

Wow, the F in Ford finally means FUN! Test drove two of these just to be sure, and the Ford Fusion is fun to drive. I bought mine 3 weeks ago, and dont regret it. Comfortable seating position as well as seats, excellent handling in any traffic situation, great controls, excellent fuel economy, already getting 24mpg and the engine isnt even broken in yet, Looked at the Camry, but too boring and pricey. Got my fully loaded (every option on the list) SEL on the road for just around $25 grand, great price! THX sound system is fantastic!

  • Fun to Drive - 2006 Ford Fusion

After test driving the Accord, Camry and then the Fusion, we liked the Fusion much better. The leather seats on our SEL are extremely comfortable. The Fusion is fun to drive and makes turns so solid, you feel very little sway. We have 17" wheels so the turning circle is wide, which bothered me at first, but now I am used to it and it does not bother me at all. Also, it is much better looking than the Camry and thousands less than the Accord.
