LOVED IT FOR FIRST 250 MILES! - 2011 Ford F-150
By jvttanner716 - March 12 - 12:43 amPurchased a 2011 XLT crewcab with 5.0 and 355 rear.At only aprox. 500 miles I loved the truck until I put it in 4 wheel drive. The truck had a thumping noise. With a visit to a Ford service center Im told it needs a" NEW " Front axle assy. With four days gone by and still not repaired Im convinced this purchase was a mistake. Its very hard to complete this review when I was only able to use this vehicle a couple of days before its extended stay in repair. Also this truck had a tag on the dash that stated, "selected by Ford for randome testing" Just not the four wheel drive system?

What a truck!! - 2011 Ford F-150
By dlong18074 - March 7 - 1:27 pmI recently purchase the 2011 F150 Platinum with 6.5 ft bed and the 3.5 l Ecoboost engine. This is an amazing truck. The fit and finish of the cabin is second to none.... Ford has thought of everything. The ride is super quiet and feels like I am sitting in my living room. I have to be careful as to my speed due to the fact that at 55 MPH it feels that I am hardly moving. The truck also looks great from the outside. The 6.5 ft bed is a must on a crew cab truck. It is much more proportional although it makes finding a parking spot a bit harder! I do worry a bit about the open grill for the Ecoboost engine but from what I have been reading it should not be an issue. Overall, excellent truck!

2011 Lariat Limited 4WD - 2011 Ford F-150
By pr4mncplus1 - January 30 - 10:26 amFINALLY, Ford puts a work horse engine in the F150. The 6.2L is a monster in this truck. From the moment it starts, you know this truck means business. My first option for aftermarket was to run dual exhaust but the single side exhaust growl is amazing. And its tuned to be quiet at higher speeds. This truck has no problem pulling an 8,000 pound boat with a triple axle boat. Still trying to fine tune the trailer brakes controller. The Navigation is brilliant, easy to read, basically having a laptop pc in your truck. The display monitor in the gauge pod is outstanding. Very easy to use. So much tech on this truck it is amazing. Paint is better than my Lexus. Great ride!

6.2 Platinum 4x4 - 2011 Ford F-150
By renelms - January 17 - 5:41 pmLove it! If 14-15 mpg doesnt bother you, then you will love this truck. Suspension, interior, sound system, the exhaust and THE ENGINE...everything is refined, smooth and very comfortable. Very spacious in every seat, huge floor space in rear seat, heated/AC seats front and rear, and all done in a soft leather. I have over 3000 miles on it so far and have no regrets. I have several GM trucks in our fleet, so i have plenty to compare....including a Denali. This one beats them all....easily. Best truck I have owned.
