  • Very Upset With Ford - 2011 Ford F-150
    By -

I have an F150 I bought 16 months ago and I loved the truck until the miles til empty start gaining and losing about 50 miles and the fuel gage started moving back and forth, and the information software has been restored then replaced. But the final straw was when I was driving down the road and the truck shut down. As its under warranty, I took it back to Ford and the throttle body was replaced on a truck that is only 16 months old and have less than 20,000 miles on it. I have been a faithful Ford customer for more than 20 years but my faith has been shaken recently. Has anybody else had this problem?

  • Best Truck on the Market! - 2011 Ford F-150
    By -

The below is ranked from the bottom up. I looked at all the Trucks out there. Toyota was plain and not worth the value, there high marks are over rated. The Nissan was pretty cool but the model has not been update since 2004 so it seemed dated. The GM line was very nice but a tad plain in styling on the Exterior and Interior, but a great truck! The Dodge was a close second and the ride was awesome, great exterior and interior. But the Ford came out on top. Hot styling, great interior, High Technology in a truck package! Overall the best Truck on the Road with a very high quality of fit and finish! Quiet and a decent ride quality. Plenty of power and proving to be great on mileage .

  • Amazing Truck - 2011 Ford F-150
    By -

The truck was purchased new and now has 7,700 miles. The amazing features of this truck are its efficiency and power. Average mpg is 22.5 combined city and highway. Highway mileage has hit 26.2 mpg. Although the truck is a basic work-truck model, getting the 8 foot bed was well worth it ($300 extra), and so was the premium sound system. The ride is very smooth and the cabin is quiet. We traded in a PT-Cruiser for this truck, and the mileage is nearly identical, but the power is much greater. The truck is amazing.

  • Believe the Hype - 2011 Ford F-150
    By -

I realize the hype around the ecoboost motor sounds beyond believable but as a new owner I say believe it. I have owned a number of domestic trucks, big v 8s to Diesels as well as a number of european sedans and my last ride was an Escalade. The F150 Platinum is on par with everyone of those vehicles for fit and finish. The performance and fuel economy of the ecoboost is amazing. Quiet ride, over the top technology and a huge discount off the MSRP and this is easily the best vehicle I have purchased in the last number of years. Nice job Ford!

2011 Ford Raptor 4Door with the 6.2 Engine We have been using the new raptor as a platform for our project build here at ATVPT, and this is one heck of a truck for all around usage.

  • Bad Transmition - 2011 Ford F-150
    By -

I bought my truck on a Thursday with about 17000 miles on it by sunday the transmition was slamming down from gear one to two! It runs well but when pulling off you can feel the transmition shift rough and it slips from the upshift from 1 to two also. Im disappointed at ford for this. After web research I found that this is a common problem with this model and ford doesnt know how to fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love The Ecoboost!!!!!!!!!!! - 2011 Ford F-150
    By -

I recently purchased a new F150 xlt with an ecoboost and the off road package. I have owned quite a few trucks and this one is in a class of its own. The power from the ecoboost is off the charts I am averaging 19 MPG with most of my driving being around town. Keep in mind this is with 3.73 gears, 32 inch tires and the vehicle has not even been broken in yet. I expect those numbers will be even better once its broken in. The new 6 speed automatic is very smooth and responsive. The steering and handeling are excellent. Its has a great turning radius, is very agile for a truck, and is very easy to control. The build quality is top notch. This is hands down the best truck you can buy.

  • 3.6L V6 Ouch! - 2011 Ford F-150
    By -

I purchased a 2011 F-150 Crew with 3.7L V6 mainly for gas mileage. 2 months later when the temperature outside got over 90 and in traffic, the truck had a vibration or resonance in the cab when idling with A/C and cooling fans running. I brought the truck to the dealer, but they could not find anything. I noticed another F- 150 with the 3.6 V6 that had revisions to the exhaust piping (Braided hose right before muffler and different mounts). I showed a picture to the Service Rep. He said he asked Ford Hot Line and they know nothing about it. I feel the vibration was coming from the exhaust system. It was so annoying, I traded the truck in for an Fx2 with 5.0L, big difference.

  • 1st time truck owner - 2011 Ford F-150
    By -

Hello, I am a 1st time truck owner and i am extremely satisfied. Loaded her up with $3000 worth of acessories and only have 80km on her so far. Opted for the 5.0 over the ecoboost only because of the current inventory.

  • Happy New Owner of 2011 Lariat Limited - 2011 Ford F-150
    By -

Have a 2005 F150, best vehicle ever owned and just purchased the new 2011 Lariat Limited. Fantastic truck, all the gadgets you can think of and turn heads everywhere. MPG is ugly but thats expected. Looking forward to many years of pleasure. Considered many other trucks and SUVs but Ford is aggressive on discounts off MSRP. Dont think you can beat the bang for the buck on this!
