Awsome Car - 2001 Ford Explorer Sport
By johna - May 24 - 10:00 amHonestly, I am a pretty crazy driver. Being a crazy driver, I would need a reliable vehicle that can handle hard turns, speed, fast breaking, and things like that. My 2001 Ford Explorer Sport has done these things and a whole lot more. Thats why I would strongly recomend this vehicle to anyone.

Decent little ride - 2001 Ford Explorer Sport
By Bigg E - March 21 - 10:00 pmIve had my truck for about a year and so far so good. My only complaints are the harsh ride over anything but smooth highway. It definately rides like a truck. The short wheelbase makes it bounce all over the lane when you hit a bump. Overall, I like my truck. It was a great deal. 4x4 works good. I would recommend it to anyone that is single or does not plan to carry a lot of passengers. Good cargo room for its size. Has not given me any problems either.

Owned used for 1 & 1/2 years - fun - 2001 Ford Explorer Sport
By NITH - January 30 - 10:00 amIve owned for 18 months. Its been great to drive. Great for short camping trips. Ive also driven it long distances with easy. It is a solid vehicle I dont ever have to worry about. Perfect vehicle for single or married w/o kids. CD Player is awesome. Backseat is hard for people to get into. DO NOT TOW WITH THIS VEHICLE! I towed a Mini Cooper on a full size trailer and burnt my brakes out. Quick and a great daily driver.

Explorer Sport - 2001 Ford Explorer Sport
By mm - January 16 - 6:40 pmBought it used from a dealer who used it in the winter. Great vehicle for New England snow storms. Built well, low maintenance costs. MPG is not great, it has a smaller tank so it sometimes seems worse than it is. Towed approx. 1500 lbs. easily, sometimes felt like I wasnt towing anything. Rides real rough, had to replace rear shocks at 22,000 and front at about 45,000. Overall not a bad car.
