Ford Listens - 2011 Ford Edge
By Napsedge - September 12 - 2:00 amI purchased my first Ford in 2007, a fully loaded edge. Only complaint I had was interior. I just got my 2011 and all I can say is WOW! The car is stunning (20 inch wheels). Many people stare and come see it when I am parked. The interior and technology is top rate! I feel like I am driving a $60k car. With the rebates I paid less than I did in 2007. The ride feels like my friends X5, really tight and crisp and the brakes are stronger than my last one. Anybody shopping for a CUV please go try a 2011 Edge, it is unbelievable.

Awesome Drive and comfortable - 2011 Ford Edge
By roushpolice - August 29 - 12:47 amI love the vehicle. We have all the bells and whistles besides the panoramic roof. It drives very good, usually when you get a new car no matter what it is, you have to get used to it, but I was used to its handling after 10 miles of driving it.

We have made several cross country trips in the 2011 edge. We are in the process of buying another Edge now. We bought this Edge in 2011 but your year selector would not work.

Ford Edge - 5 Year Life Span - 2011 Ford Edge
By Michele Bond - January 9 - 12:15 amI have (had) a 2011 Ford Edge Limited and maintained it according to service manual guidelines. I was out running errands on a Saturday and it quit moving. I had to get it towed to the auto repair shop and learned that it needs a new engine!!! Hello. That is a $7-8K repair for a car that is only 5 years old. Ford customer service was of little or no help other than to say that the car needs to be at a Ford dealership. Not happening...the car wont move and I would need to have it towed again. I suggested a 3-way call between me, Ford customer service, and the car repair shop, which was not possible. Did I like the Ford Edge? Yes...loved it up until 3 days ago when it stopped working and needed a new engine. Definitely not reliable and not recommended. And, Ford is little or no help. I dont think that it is acceptable for a car manufactured in this day and age to only run for 5 years and then require an engine replacement.

Worst Car Ever!!!! - 2011 Ford Edge
By Dg12192016 - August 24 - 7:49 pmI have been having transmission leaks ever since i bought it. Brought it to Bay ridge ford (horrible dealer) for service and he tried to play me for a fool. He would clean the oil and make it seem like he fixed it. I called Ford service and their costumer service is useless, no help at all. Dont ever buy fords, worst cars ever. I learned my lesson!

143,000 miles since 2011 - NO ISSUES - 2011 Ford Edge
By NanoSk - June 23 - 8:20 amMy 3.5 L V6 Edge Limited AWD gets 23.5 mpg average, no matter how I drive. I am averaging about 28 k miles per year. I have put lots of miles in on the highway, but also in stop and go traffic. Only replaced oil, filters, brake pads, wipers, and tires. PTU in rear trans replaced at about 118,000 under warranty. 85,000 miles out of each pair of Michelin tires (still on 2nd set). Great handling in the New England snow too. I will buy another Edge, and really think it is a great vehicle. Another Ford home run.

Avoid! - 2011 Ford Edge
By Ferjen - September 2 - 3:54 amOur Edge Limited is only 6 years old. Immediately after the warranty, the backup camera somehow inverted the image upside down. Cost would be hundreds to fix, so we never fixed. Ffwd to today, the car started sputtering on my wife and then shut down in the middle of an intersection. Ford tells us the entire engine seized up and will cost almost $7000 to repair! That is insane for a 6 year old car. And worse, they cannot tell us the cause without tearing it apart. The car was just serviced a month ago for an oil change and the brakes were just serviced 3 days ago. We gave the car 1 star for everything because a comfortable safe car is useless if YOU CANNOT DRIVE IT!
