just keeps on kicking - 1995 Eagle Vision
By Star - July 28 - 8:48 amI bought this car from a friend a couple of years back and now it is over 175,000 miles and just wont quit. The a/c is dead and the clips to the windshield wipers fluids tubers are broke, cant replace these either but it always starts no matter the weather and kicks snow out of the way better than most trucks I have driven ( 2 foot snow drifts? this car laughed at them). The check engine light also goes on for no reason. Have had it on the computer half dozen times without any problems. Get up and go is great, passes other vehicles easily. Oh and if your taller than 57" your going to hit your head almost every time getting into this pretty little car. I love my purple beast.

Good Car for the Money - 1994 Eagle Vision
By Clemons - March 21 - 2:23 pmWeve had this car for over 8 years now and it has been overall a good car. Its had some problems, mainly the A/C and we replaced a tie-rod end and sway bar connecters in the front, but overall its been good. I change the transmission fluid every year, which might be excessive, but ... Its real fun to drive, has lots of room, and lots of options. Rides great.

I got a good one - 1994 Eagle Vision
By diggerm - November 4 - 1:35 pmI bought my TSi used at 23,000mi. Apart from a minor leak in the A/C at 60,000, the car has been great, needing only normal wear and tear items replaced. Now at 130,000 miles and 11 years, the car is mostly suffering from "old age". I had two 30,000 miles of commuting years, suffering only a puncture. Ive never had to add oil to the 3.5L between changes. I was warned about buying this car used, but it checked out well under inspection. Regular required maintenance has been performed, including transmission fluid changes every 25,000 miles. Perhaps thats why almost all the parts are originals.

If you can find one... buy it! - 1997 Eagle Vision
By Decoy72 - February 22 - 2:00 amThis car is great car in almost every area ecept for city gas mileage. Once it hits the highway you can expect around 30 - 35 mpg. Other than that one issue, I love mine. Lots of power, great looks, low maintenance costs and every feature imaginable for a car of this class.

notsoregaleagle - 1996 Eagle Vision
By eagle jack - February 10 - 2:00 amfirst off i really do like my eagle esi.if it were not for the faulty electrical problems(corrrosion of major wires)and the never ceasing front end problems this car could be a high 9 in ratings.interior is roomy and comfortable.the 3.3 i have even at 163,000 miles + still has no loss in pickup.body has been solid and is just starting to show trunk lid rust.my big beef though has been with the front end components of the car.at 56000 mile i had to replace the rack and pinion components, the ball joints and connecting rods and struts.since then it has been 4 more complete sets of ball joints and tie rod ends.

Never Again - 1994 Eagle Vision
By garyr51 - January 7 - 2:00 amTransmission went out at 68000, the engine locked up at 75000. The driver seat frame broke, and there is some type of clunk in the front end that the shops cant figure out. When it was running, it was a great touring car - a very nice smooth ride but the horrid reliability has cost me many, many thousands! No mor Chrysler products for me - ever!!

Like the Looks Hate the repair costs - 1994 Eagle Vision
By D. Edwards - December 27 - 2:00 amI love the looks of the this car, but I should have done more research before I bought it. It seems that the same problems Ive had are what other owners have experienced. Water pump went out (a major cost covered by the extended warranty) transmission replaced (unfortunately just after the warranty expired) AC ghost activates the defroster on full blast hot for no reason (dealer cant replicate) front end wobble (pretty sure this one is ball joints or tie rod ends).

Purple Vision - 1995 Eagle Vision
By stormydazetn - November 30 - 2:00 amI bought the car at about 145,000 miles and it now has 180,000. Had to replace water pump, headlights, and there is a problem with the wireing harness to the cooling fans which can be fixed by bypassing the fuse box in the car to the one in the motor compartment. The transmission just went out but only the clutch part not the gears. The A/C went out at about 170,000.

Good, But..... - 1995 Eagle Vision
By pellis - October 20 - 2:00 amThis car is very comfortable. I kept up with oil changes very well. The car is nice, handles well, and can stand a bump or two. Had problems when it hit 150,000. Transmission just died on my way to work. No warning, no light, no slipping, just up and died. That is the only reason my rated the reliability 8. Car was perfect, if not for that.
