"meet all necessary requirements" van - 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan
By dprong - September 20 - 2:00 amLeased an 98 Plymouth Grand Voyager "Expresso" (3.3 L engine) and upon its lease expiration, I told the same salesperson who leased it at the beginning that it was the best car I ever had after driving 4 Hondas (all cars). He replied,"This 2000 Grand Caravan" (3.8L) is going to be even better. And he is damn right! Despite that this van has ran into bad luck (smashed a pregnant doe; leaving $8,000 damage and hail damage leaving $9,000 damage within 1 year!) Took it to many long trips per year to parents in laws and to Fla. A real nice cruising vehicle! Comfortable seatings

Straight from a happy owner - 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan
By Rideon - September 2 - 2:00 amThis van has been a joy to own and drive. It has given me reliable trouble free service. Only problem was a slight transmission oil leak which I got fixed right away and it has been fine since. No problems starting in cold weather and no major or even minor repairs needed.

All Good Here - 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan
By 61 kd - July 11 - 11:53 amBought this model from dealer, first family truckster Ive owned. I think Ill own it forever. It just never quits. Did have a master cylinder issue early on but was under warranty. I also replaced the A/C but other than that nothing else. It rides like a dream, love the versitility of removing the 2nd row captain chairs, and it gets 23 on the highway. Engine and Tranny still going strong!

One more round! - 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan
By comfort king - August 9 - 3:03 pmThis is my 2nd Grand Caravan. The first was very reliable. I owned it 10 years. Bought a luxury car and realised I missed my minivan. So here we go again. This one has 98000 on it, Im hoping I will have good luck with it, because I really enjoy the comfort and ride. I feel a little more confident since Ive got 10 years and 231,000 miles experience out of my 1st one. Plus I only paid $3600 for it used from the original owner who was a Chrysler retiree. I feel I cant go wrong.

The family truckster - 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan
By 5kids - September 21 - 6:26 pmWe bought our Grand Caravan used as a one owner. Its now got over 90,000 miles and weve loved it since the day we bought it! I have 5 kids and it works wonderfully for transporting my family. Its big enough for all of us to ride in comfort, but I have no problems getting it in and out of parking spots. Were going on 3 years of ownership and have put on 35,000+ miles without a single problem or trip to the dealership and still going strong!

We got a good one! - 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan
By MickeySix - September 16 - 12:36 pmOnly real problem was with the A/C. Had it in 3 times under warranty and they finally fixed the problem. We just turned over 70K and not another problem with this van. Excellent interior room, comfortable to travel in for our family of 5, and exterior styling is the best of all mini vans. This van has been from Washington state to NY and back 3 times without a problem. The Infinity sound system and overhead DVD player keeps the whole family entertained. The overhead computer is a nice feature. Ive read some of the complaints on the tranny and brakes, but with just over 70K on ours we havent experienced any of that! We have nothing but praise for our van and would recommend it to anyone!!!
