An Awesome Driving Machine - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By mitholand - June 18 - 2:00 amI just love my Chrysler 300 M. It combines great looks with great handling and performance. Of the two Chrysler products (the other was an LHS) that i have owned during the 90s, the 300 M is truly the better machine. I have had absolutely no problems with either vehicle. Would I ever buy another 300 M? Only if I ever wear out the one I already have.

Great Car - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By Dakota - June 14 - 2:00 amBought it new when it first appeared, and I never buy a new model, but fell in love with the looks and performance. Like the drive and the features, especially the heated seats in these North Dakota winters. Did have to replace a couple of sensors under warrenty, but no other problems and the gas mileage is great.

300M after 3 years - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By cor - June 11 - 2:00 amOK, so Im ashamed to admit it but, I leased this car, and proceeded to put 70,000 miles on it in 3 years. The car has been in the shop twice, once for front stableizer, once for a speed sensor. Neither was a major deal, and I was told both are a common problem. Two issues with build quality: driver side door doesnt seal 100% so some wind noise, and engine makes tappit when first starting. Otherwise a very nice car, comfortable, stylish, poweful, and for the most part reliable.

Quality control - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By idarado - May 21 - 2:00 amI have had nothing but trouble the last six months with the doors on the car. They dont shut, you have to slam them to get them to close. I have had the moldings replaced, then the door pannels on two of the doors. Last time I was in the door panel came from the factory incorrectly made so I am driving around with a terrible wind noise. Took the car to get it washed and got soaked as the water leaked in the door. Got out of the car and shut the door and the window fell out. Also, bad design regarding visibility. Cant see when you are backing up. Off to a Toyota dealer.

Best Car I Have Ever Owned - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By braveman69 - May 6 - 2:00 amI liked my 300M so much that I let my son drive it to college and I went out and bought another. It is the best car I have ever owned. I find it fun to drive, extremely comfortable for a 270 pound 6 foot 4 inch fellow, with still plenty of legroom for others in the back seat. I would recommend it to any and all.

Five place Porsche? - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By JV from Cal - March 21 - 2:00 amWell...perhaps.If Porsche were to build a sports sedan,it might look like the 300M.Handles twisties well(but not like a 911 or Boxster,of course),great on the highway but wind/road noise more than it should be.Infiniti sound system takes the edge off of that.HP and torgue well balanced for this car,so plenty of power for passing and on ramps.Plenty of room in all seats and trunk..and just plain looks good from all angles.
