Overview & Reviews
The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

Love My "C" - 2005 Chrysler 300
By DPahl - November 11 - 10:00 amI have only had it for four weeks and 3,000 miles, but I love this car! From the neck-snapping acceleration to the head-turning style, I think it is the best value on the road. I bought the magnesium color and I am amazed at the slack-jawed looks I am getting from BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus drivers who paid much more for their vehicles than I did.

Worth the wait - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Road warrior - November 11 - 10:00 amThis new automobile from Chrysler is definitely worth the long wait I experienced when I first went to my dealership wanting more information on the 300C which I had read and seen on TV from February. I made the decision to purchase in March and took delivery of the first 300C in this market in May! What a smooth, powerful and responsive driving machine! It is absolutely the best automobile I have ever owned (and there have been many!)

By mary L. Robinson - October 24 - 8:22 pmlove car, but have had some unusual problems, like the rocker panel dropping off. Has anyone else had thia problem? Had to replace brake rotors and pads at a cost of 743.00 at 22000 miles . Brakes still squeaking, even when Im not braking. Just had to have suspension work done that cost me 1100.00 and replacement of rocker panel me 389.00. all of this on a car with 49000.00 and also a new set of tires. the originals were so worn.

Best car that I have ever driven - 2005 Chrysler 300
By NoVa Driver - September 30 - 10:00 amI have been driving my 300C for the past two weeks. Simply outstanding. Great performance (save for the gas mileage -- but I am still breaking the engine in), great ride, and definitely catches peoples attention. All of the folks who have taken a drive with me say that the passenger seats have plenty of room and are very comfortable.

Jesus H. Chrysler! - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Barefoot Serpent - September 30 - 10:00 amDame Chrysler finally comes close to hitting one out of the park. With this car and, especially the Crossfire, the Mercedes/Chrysler marriage is beginning to produce attention-getting, praiseworthy offspring.

Great Car - 2005 Chrysler 300
By JDM1 - September 30 - 10:00 amI have owned a e320 Mercedes and this is comparable. The ride is exactly the same. A much better value. Everybody talks and looks at this car. Thrilled with the car.

best buy in class - 2005 Chrysler 300
By mnfraser - September 30 - 10:00 amI have been looking at used M5s, CTS-Vs, and the 300C. The CTS-V is 90% of the car of an M5 for 2/3 the price - and the 300C is 90% of the car at 2/3 the price of the CTS-V (ok, 80% of the engine, at 340 hp vs 400 for the CTS-V, but 95% or more when it comes to features, handling and styling). I have a few small build problems, such as the center console not being bolted into place upon purchase, and a sticky radio tuning button. Be warned that the gas mileage is much more like 15 to 20 mpg than the 18 to 25 advertised on the sticker. I paid $1,500 over msrp. All in all, a fine car, and nearly 30 days in, I would buy it again.

LUXURY - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Kenneth Pangborn - September 30 - 10:00 amThe 300 is more comfortable than a Deville. It handles like a European sports touring sedan with the BMW on any mountain road. Stingy on gasoline. Is built tight as a battleship. And mechanically is superb. Safety features are excellent. And all for a price competitive with a similarly equipped Taurus or Carolla. Chrysler seems to be back on track.
