Overview & Reviews
As the entry-level model of its platform siblings, the 2010 Chevrolet Traverse doesn't give up much at all, providing a roomy, comfortable cabin and a pleasant-to-drive demeanor.
- Complaint ride, seating for up to eight passengers, adult-friendly split-folding third-row seat, massive cargo area, top safety scores.
- Poor outward visibility, large size hampers maneuverability, some forgettable interior materials.

A Lot of room and a lot of fun. - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse
By Greg F - January 29 - 1:15 pmCame off the lease of a 06 Cadillac DTS in November. The smooth ride in the LTZ is superior to that of the Cadillac and of the 2002 Lincoln Town Car I had previously even with the 20 inch tires (Bridgestone Dueler) I have now. The amount of room for the driver is outstanding in the Traverse and is of particular importance to me. The power of the jets on the Windshield washer is the best I have ever seen. Mileage is only at 16 mpg and is a little disappointing but I have been using the remote start. Brakes tend to squeak first thing in the morning. Voice recognition system does not work for hands free dialing. It can not distinguish between different numbers. Overall I am very pleased

Great Vehicle!!! Go CHEVY!! - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse
By Shawn - January 10 - 11:01 pmI love my chevy traverse. It handles great. Smooth ride and fun to drive. It is a drivers SUV. My limited options on the LT1 feels like I got a loaded version. The interior is nice and has the feel of luxury w/o leather. A great buy!!!

2010 Traverse LT1 FWD w/options - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse
By Snoopy - December 29 - 1:08 pmBought 2010 Traverse LT1 FWD w/tow package, dual sunroof/moonroof, roof cross rails & Captains chairs back in November. Thus far, love this vehicle. Mileage varies but avg about 23 mpg hwy currently, certainly no worse than my previous 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. Plenty of room for 7 & 13 yr olds in the back seat and plenty of room for 6 tall spouse in the passenger. Rides smooth and comfortable for family of four. The third row was tested when family friends were visiting - no complaints. Handled well in the snow as a result of the winter storm that hit MD/DC/VA/PA area right before Christmas. Cant wait to drive this on our next vacation.

Nice vehicle for the price. - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse
By JenJ - December 1 - 1:28 pmThe Traverse is very fun to drive and is much more attractive than our previous Uplander mini-van. The interior is very nicely designed and the Bose stereo system is wonderful. I do find that there are quite a few blind spots and my visibility in the Traverse is not as good as it was in the van. I agree with the previous review, the brakes arent as responsive as I expected. The gas mileage is working out to be less than promised but still better than a truck or SUV. Overall, a very nice vehicle for the price.

First SUV - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse
By Sheryl M. - November 25 - 12:52 pmI initially looked at minivans (Sienna, Odyssey, and Routan), but was intrigued when I saw the traverse. All it took was one test drive, and I was sold. I guess I wasnt ready to go the minivan route=) The Traverse rides like a car and is as smooth as can be. I love the back-up camera, back-up sensors, and the blind spot area of the side mirrors. Due to 2 young kids, I had to have the captains chairs for easy access to the 3rd row seats. It is one of the most spacious interiors for a midsize suv that was on the market. I give it 2 thumbs up.
