Overview & Reviews
For 2004, Chevrolet has dropped the high-line LTZ trim level. Power-adjustable pedals, a DVD-based navigation system, automatically locking doors and XM Satellite Radio are new features this year. The instrument panel now sports a freshened monochromatic look. The North Face Edition package gets unique 17-inch wheels, while all models get new 17-inch aluminum wheels.
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design, low-grade interior materials.

I love my new Trailblazer!!! - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Patti D - July 28 - 2:00 amIve wanted to buy an SUV for the past 5 years and I finally found one that I absolutely love. I have a 2003 Trailblazer LT (4wd, 4 door). I purchased it in 8/03 and so far I have approximately 3700 miles on it. We have had a rough winter on Long Island so far this year and I felt very safe driving my SUV in the snow. Its got a great ride and is very comfortable. Ive always owned small to mid-sized cars. Ill probably never buy a car again!

Wonderful SUV! - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By oneutfan - July 12 - 10:00 amThis is my first purchase of an suv. My mother has owned three blazers. All of which I loved. When I finally purchased mine I was excited. I have a four year old son and we travel a lot of miles. It has been very comfortable to travel in. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone. After owning this one I only want to go bigger!

A wonderful choice - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By AbsolutLiz - June 16 - 2:00 amI purchased my Trailblazer a month ago after much research and contemplation on just the right new car. My husband and I chose the trailblazer both for its looks as well as its reliability and quality in performance. I have not regretted our choice even once. I feel much safer in my trailblazer and enjoy every moment in it!I recommend the Trailblazer without any qualms.

Just bought another one! - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By G. Evans - February 8 - 2:00 amBought a new 2002 TB in Nov 01, and liked it so much, I bought a 2004 TB yesterday. Had a few leaks with 02 (front struts and a very slow cranckshaft seal)which dealer fixed. Otherwise no problems. Also own a 98 Expedition. TB is much easierr to handle in the city vs. Expy. Gas mileage could be better, but both 02 and 04 TBs are extremely smooth and quiet.

Love my 2004 Trailblazer - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By danmathers - February 2 - 2:00 amJust bought a new 2004 LS after 3 years of a Durango. List $31,600... cash price after incentives: $24,500. Love its drive, much smoother than Durango. Disagree with Edmunds criticism of steering. Very handsome and comfortable. Mileage much better than Durango, pickup very sufficient... nice to be back to 6 cylindars with gas so high. Size, drive and handling perfect. Got Burgundy color and compliments on its appearance. Good tight vehicle with feel of reliability.

Blazin my trail - 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By rebeckywecky - January 28 - 10:00 amI love this car. It is very fast with 280 horses under the hood. Its a comfortable ride and unlike the editors rating I dont think the interior is cheaply made. The only problems I have had is in the guage panel with a grinding noise, and the change oil light is a false reading. Also I do think that the seals around the car for noise protection are installed poorly. Mine keep coming loose and I have to reattatch them. Overall I really love this car and dont even want to trade it in for a bigger one, which I really need.
