Overview & Reviews
This fully redesigned Trailblazer now sports a longer, wider and noticeably stiffer chassis, along with an all-new 4.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine and a more refined suspension that is light years ahead of its predecessor, the Blazer. Unique sheet metal now differentiates the Trailblazer from its GM cousins, the GMC Envoy and Oldsmobile Bravada, while a restyled interior makes better use of the additional passenger room inside.
- Class-leading engine power, forgiving ride, room for seven in the EXT version.

Love our Extended Trailblazer - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By extended-trailblazer - June 28 - 10:00 amWe wanted to step down from our full size conversion van, but didnt want a mini-van family mobile. the extended trailblazer fits the perfectly for us. We have tons of cargo space even with the second row seats in use. Performance is excellent and Chevy hardly missed a bell or whistle in the LTZ.

Just traded for an Evoy - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Pics - June 11 - 2:00 amI loved to drive my trailblazer more than my car . At first I had problems with the four wheel drive ,it would try to go into four low going down the road .also had a lot of electrical problems,Doors would lock by themselves, security horn would blow when you unlocked the door. I got decent gas milage 17 to 20 . Just traded for a 2003 GMC Envoy , it has 2;73 gearing only getting 14 to 15 mpg on GMC.The tailgate handle molding ate into the paint, noticed GMC has a rubber seal around it.

Love it so far - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By beefyalby - April 24 - 10:00 amBeen leary of chevy blazers in the past. Bought this with 29000 miles but runs smooth, comfortable ride and power also. Love the extras. Dark blue is the best color. I still worry about chevys. extended warranty purchased for that reason. This will be my pride and joy so long as it does not poop out on me.

For me, it is Just great!!! - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Alex el magno - November 23 - 2:00 amThough I heard a lot of critics on it, I liked the design and Decided to try it; I found out that main critics about space for driver, problems while turning, and disadvante of a 6 cyl engine where not true; the driver area is spacious, seats are confortable, sharp and quick turns are not a problem, and response of engine is great.

Must have been built on a Friday - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By CTO1 - October 12 - 2:00 amI think this vehicle was assembled by drunken monkeys. The side view mirrors move to a different position each time I get in it. The radio station changes for no reason at all. I had seven items to be repaired at the dealership at the 30,000 mile point. The emergency brake sometimes does not engage. At highway speed, the roar from the poorly fit window molding is so loud I can hardly hear the radio. This truck has been at the dealership for maintenance for over 100 days! Was waiting for parts for over a month...The dealership then tells me "it was MY FAULT for buying a brand new car that there are no parts for yet"

Couldnt be better - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Like It - July 16 - 10:00 amThe Trailblazer has been by far the best vehicle (at least so far) I have ever owned. In these times of "get a little closer - I cant tell what that is," this new GM SUV offers a fresh and distinctive exterior styling. The best part though is the construction. I have no tolerance for creeks and vibrations - none here, even over potholes. The in-line 6 provides plenty of power. Interior room is more than adequete. On the downside, the dash and center console is of course just a big ole hunk of boring plastic like everything else these days. CD/Stereo is acceptable. A/C is slow to cool but dual temp zones and rear vents/blower make up for it.
