Overview & Reviews
This fully redesigned Trailblazer now sports a longer, wider and noticeably stiffer chassis, along with an all-new 4.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine and a more refined suspension that is light years ahead of its predecessor, the Blazer. Unique sheet metal now differentiates the Trailblazer from its GM cousins, the GMC Envoy and Oldsmobile Bravada, while a restyled interior makes better use of the additional passenger room inside.
- Class-leading engine power, forgiving ride, room for seven in the EXT version.

Lacks quality - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By troubled owner - May 18 - 2:00 amI like to drive Tb. But it is poorly constructed. Bhe transmission has gone out twice in the first 40,ooo miles. It has an intermitent electical problem. One time the heater motor wont work. Restart, everything works(just like microsofts fix for everything). The problem rotates wipers, dashlights, radio. Rear lid crown blew off traveling on interstate of course this happened at 38,000 miles. Chevrolet says sorry, no coverage

Competitors shakin in their boots - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By CUFFS - April 22 - 6:03 amThe all new TrailBlazer is great. The excelleration was incredible, reaching 60+ in what seemed like nearly 8 seconds. The TrailBlazer has a smoooooth ride and stiff steering. There is little to no vibration at speeds of 90+. The wind noise at higher speeds is less than desirable but tolerable. The stereo is awesome with CD player and 8 speakers throughout.

By TrlBlzrLvr - March 14 - 10:00 amThis is a fun car to drive. It has a very roomy interior and it looks nice. It doesnt have any of that cheap plasticy stuff. It rides very smoothly and the inline 6 has a lot of pep. My only compaint is the engine is a little louder sounding that what Im use to.

Beware of the flaws - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By medsy - February 23 - 10:00 amI bought my ext trailblazer 3 months ago and I have numerous problems with it: - Very annoying Squeaking that the dealer say they could not prove it, well I hear it every day. - The rear climate controls just do not work, well Im taking it to the dealer for that. - Foul mildew odor comes out of the ventialation system after I shut off the air conditioning. For god sake, it is a brand new car. - The underhood light work sometimes! - I was driving one day, the front dash just went dead, no dials or lights were working. Stopped and restarted the car and the front dash went live again. The dealer says this can never happen.

Love it, need more room for gas - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By mmmmm - January 31 - 10:00 amIm very pleased with this one. Its fast, it will tow my 22 foot boat, and it looks gooood. Its comfortable, but could use a little bit more room in the back seat. Child seat is very hard to install in the middle because the seat is shorter, to inclined and the split between seats makes it lack support. No problem on passenger side though.

2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By kparks - December 19 - 10:00 amI have driven this vehicle for the past 2 years and I still love it. The SUV is fun to drive overall. Mechanically the SUV has been excellant and Chevrolet has provided a service level above my previous experience with them. Looks like they have finally come around with providing first class customer service.

Trailblazer - 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Knoxville - October 24 - 10:00 amI really liked this vehicle the day I bought it. I made a really bad mistake by purchasing this vehicle. For $34000 I should have purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee. My friend bought one and it is 10 times the vehicle my Chevy is. The Jeep will run circles around by Trailblazer. There is no way my trailblazer makes 270HP. I wish I would have driven a Trailblazer first.
